FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – From Monday, March 17, 2025, to Friday, March 21, 2025, the Peach State’s booming entertainment and film industries will be recognized and celebrated during Georgia Film Week 2025. The five-day event lines up with the Georgia Production Partnership’s 30th anniversary as well, an organization that played a vital role in the state’s success in the field.
The Georgia Production Partnership is responsible for countless strides, like being the first group to lobby for the entertainment tax credit, shaping several policies, attracting significant productions, and strengthening the local job market.
Georgia Film Week 2025 will feature a mixture of policymakers, entertainment leaders, and other key figures honoring the state’s accomplishments and preparing for the future.
On Monday, participants will celebrate three decades of support from the Georgia Production Partnership with GPP Legacy Day. On Tuesday, Diversity in Film Day, the event will focus on the necessity for inclusion and representation.
Wednesday is Union/Workforce Appreciation Day, in which skilled workers and unions will be honored, and Thursday, Legislative Day, will gather industry representatives and policymakers for discussions, workshops, and networking.
The week concludes with the GPP 30 Years Celebration Gala on Friday, promising an exciting culmination.
