On November 30, 2025, I, Officer B. Rose (Unit 3309), responded to [600 BLOCK] Langston Drive SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30315 (Fulton County), in reference to a verbal dispute between a mother and daughter.
Upon arrival, Officer J. Hodge (Unit 3312) and I made contact with the caller, Ms. [VICTIM #1] (DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1989). Ms. [VICTIM #1] reported that she and her daughter, Ms. Jakoria Orr (DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]2003), had engaged in a verbal dispute during which she states Ms. Jakoria threatened her by stating she would “fu*k her up.” Ms. [VICTIM #1] provided a video recording of the incident, and upon reviewing the footage, Ms. Jakoria could be seen and heard yelling the aforementioned threat toward Ms. [VICTIM #1]. The video evidence was uploaded to evidence.com for documentation.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] informed officers that her daughter Ms. Jakoria, her granddaughter [REDACTED], and her daughter’s girlfriend Ms. [REDACTED] DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1995, had left the residence on foot and were walking down the street. While I continued gathering Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s formal statement, Officer Hodge made contact with the individuals walking toward Metropolitan Parkway. Ms. [VICTIM #1] confirmed that the incident remained verbal and did not escalate into a physical dispute; however, she expressed her desire to press charges against Ms. Jakoria for the threat made.
Continuing my investigation, I made contact with Ms. Jakoria Orr down the street from the residence where she was occupied by her girlfriend, child and Ofc. Hodge. Ms. Jakoria stated that the dispute began over her intention to take her daughter, [REDACTED]—whom she stated to have custody of—out of the home for the night. She reported that an argument ensued, words were exchanged, and she subsequently gathered her and her daughter’s belongings before leaving the residence.
Based on the statements obtained from both parties, as well as the video evidence provided by Ms. [VICTIM #1], and Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s desire to press charges it was determined there was probable cause to charge Ms. Jakoria Orr with Simple Assault – Family Violence, in violation of OCGA 16-5-20(d).
Ms. Jakoria Orr was placed under arrest and transported to Fulton County Jail without incident.
Sergeant R. Whaley and the Domestic Violence Unit were notified.
