FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – Atlanta police are investigating a possible smash-and-grab burglary at the Lululemon store on Howell Mill Road, marking the fourth time in the past year officers have been called to the business for a break-in or theft.
Officers responded to the store shortly before 2 a.m., after receiving a report of a burglary. When investigators arrived, they found the glass front door smashed in.
Police have not said what, if anything, was taken during the incident.
The store has been the target of repeated crimes in recent months. In July, police said a man and woman entered the business, grabbed more than $450 worth of clothing, and ran off without paying. In February, officers arrested two people accused of stealing from the same location after stopping their car and finding 440 Lululemon items valued at nearly $39,000, with tags and hangers still attached.
Last December, the Howell Mill Road store was also struck in another smash-and-grab burglary. Authorities did not release details about what was stolen in that case.
Thursday’s break-in remains under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Atlanta Police Department.
