FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – On December 19, 2024, the annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball at State Farm Arena will feature an exciting lineup organized by hip-hop station 96.1 The Beat.
The event promises an unforgettable night of music and celebration, showcasing performances from famous artists, including T-Pain, T.I., Sexyy Red, Saweetie, The Kid LAROI, Khalid, and Tinashe. Fans eager to attend the concert can purchase tickets starting Friday at noon via Ticketmaster or iHeartRadio.
In a significant shift this past April, iHeartMedia made a strategic move by swapping two of its stations, allowing The Beat to claim the more powerful 96.1 signal. This transition involved relocating its 12-year-old top 40 station, Power, to the less robust 105.3 FM signal. This change not only elevates The Beat’s presence in the Atlanta market but also reflects the growing popularity of hip-hop and R&B.
The Jingle Ball concert is part of a broader series of holiday events that iHeartMedia organizes in various cities across the country. Atlanta’s first Jingle Ball took place in 2012 and featured stars like Justin Bieber, Kesha, Flo Rida, and Enrique Iglesias. Last year, Power 96.1 hosted its final Jingle Ball with performances by Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, and Sabrina Carpenter.
The Jingle Ball events are not limited to Atlanta; cities including Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Miami also host their own concerts. The Los Angeles Jingle Ball for KIIS will include artists such as T-Pain, Meghan Trainor, SZA, Tate McRae, and Shaboozey, who recently performed in Atlanta.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Vladimir Scott, program director for The Beat, stated, “I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the first-ever 96.1 The Beat’s Jingle Ball concert in Atlanta. It’s a concert for Atlanta, by Atlanta, and it’s going to be an unforgettable night filled with incredible performances and holiday vibes.”
The lineup highlights local talent, with Atlanta’s own T.I. making an appearance after participating in V-103’s WinterFest last year. T-Pain, a resident of Atlanta, last took the stage at Lakewood Amphitheatre in June, while Sexyy Red recently headlined a show at State Farm Arena in August.
In addition to the musical festivities, this year’s Jingle Ball will support a charitable cause. The official charity for the event is the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, which aims to inspire pediatric patients through entertainment and educational initiatives.
A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to this nonprofit. Ryan Seacrest, a native of Atlanta, is expected to be in town to inaugurate a special radio studio at the new Arthur M. Blank Hospital, which opened just last Sunday.
