On 11/07/2025 at 7:51 p.m. I was dispatched to the intersection of Altama Avenue and Stafford Avenue in reference to a hit and run accident.

Upon my arrival I spoke with the victim/complainant, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] was driving a silver in color 2006 Toyota Camry [GA License Plate: [REDACTED]]. [VICTIM #1] said he was stopped on Stafford Avenue westbound at intersection of Altama Avenue in the right turn lane onto Altama Avenue. [VICTIM #1] said he was stopped behind a gray in color 2018 Nissan Altima [GA License Plate: [REDACTED]]. [VICTIM #1] said the Nissan had began backing up for no apparent reason and [VICTIM #1] could not react in time to reverse his Toyota.

[VICTIM #1] said he believed the Nissan had accidentally pulled too far into the lanes of Altama Avenue before he had the right of way. [VICTIM #1] said as the Nissan reversed it collided into the front bumper of his Toyota with the Nissan’s rear bumper. [VICTIM #1] said this caused slight damage which I later observed and took photographs of. [VICTIM #1] said at this time he got out of his Toyota and confronted the driver of the Nissan. [VICTIM #1] described the Nissan driver as the following:

-White male
-Heavy build
-Chunky face
-Wearing glasses and a hat

[VICTIM #1] said the male never exited the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] said the male told him he apologized and said he would pull into the parking lot of Publix so they could exchange information. [VICTIM #1] said at this time the male made a right turn onto Altama Avenue and “took off”. [VICTIM #1] said the male never stopped at Publix. [VICTIM #1] said since he already had the license plate of the Nissan he did not follow him due to it being unsafe and called the police. I asked [VICTIM #1] if he wished to pursue criminal charges for this incident? [VICTIM #1] said yes.

At this time I conducted a GCIC/NCIC search for the Nissan and discovered the registered owner is Brandon Nuhfer. I located Nuhfer’s Georgia DDS photograph from 10/31/2019. Nuhfer matched the physical description provided by [VICTIM #1] and also has listed he wears corrective lenses. I showed [VICTIM #1] a picture of Nuhfer without providing [VICTIM #1] his name. [VICTIM #1] confirmed Nuhfer was the offender in this incident. At this time I gave [VICTIM #1] a case card with this case number and told him I would document this incident.

I later attempted to place a phone call to Nuhfer for his statement however it was out of service. I conducted a Flock search of the Nissan and discovered the following entries:

Altama Avenue & Altama Connector 11/07/2025 7:10 p.m.
Altama Connector & GA Spur 25 11/07/2025 7:12 p.m.
Altama Connector & Old Cypress Mill Road 11/07/2025 7:12 p.m.

Due to the vehicle located on Flock in the same area, at the same time, vehicle damage and [VICTIM #1] able to state key identifying features of Nuhfer prior to being shown a photograph, then confirming via photograph, I will be drafting an arrest warrant against Nuhfer for:

Leaving the scene of an accident 40-6-270 Misdemeanor

I have uploaded all Axon video files and photographs to Evidence.com. I will later conduct a follow up at 5598 Altama Avenue, Dollar General for video footage of this incident.
