On December 6th, 2025, at 01:21, I was patrolling on Wylly Ave when I observed a suspicious male in the front yard. I made contact with the male whom I identified as D’angelo Morton. At the conclusion of this incident, I arrested D’angelo Morton for public indecency.

In the early morning hours of December 6th, I was observing Stonewall Street from Paula Park. I saw a male riding a bike with no front or rear lights. The male left Stonewall Street, cut through to Wylly Avenue on a dirt trail, and continued biking. When I attempted to follow him onto Wylly Avenue, but before I rounded the corner, he abandoned the bike in the road and fled into a house. I saw him standing inside [3700 BLOCK] Wylly Avenue, staring out the front door as we passed. Minutes later, I rechecked the street. The male had placed the bike by the house and was still in the doorway, watching outside.

Later, while observing Wylly Avenue, the male came out into the front yard and, within ten to fifteen feet of the street, lowered his pants and began to pee. Exposing his genitals in public view. Myself and my trainee, Officer Curvin, upon witnessing this offense, got out with the male. The homeowner called out that she knew he was there and that she had told him to pee outside. I informed Mr Morton that exposing himself in public view was illegal and placed him under arrest for public indecency. I checked the cuffs fit and double-locked them.

I read Mr Morton his Miranda rights before proceeding with questions. I asked him what he had been doing on Stonewall Street and why he was attempting to avoid us, given that he was not wanted. Mr Morton first stated he had not been on Stonewall Street. He then said he had only been passing through and maintained he was not trying to avoid us. I then placed Mr Morton in the back of my patrol car and secured him with a seatbelt.

I transported Mr Morton to the county jail, and I booked him for the following offences: Public Indecency OCGA 16-6-8, for lewdly exposing a sexual organ within the public view. This charge is based on the testimony of two officers, the offender’s verbal confession upon confrontation, and body camera footage.

After booking Mr Morton, I transferred custody to the jail staff, concluding my involvement with this case.
