On 08/22/2026 at approximately 2136 hours I, Officer Bittle, was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] for a report of a domestic.

Once on scene, I observed an unknown black male walking in a fast manner away from the location of the call. I then observed an unknown black female walking in the same direction as the male, about 30 yards behind him and visibly upset. I asked the female if she was the one that called and she said yes. I asked if she had been hit and if that subject was who hit her and she said yes. She stated that I “need to get that mother fu*ker.” The black male that I observed, when initially arriving on scene, fled on foot. The female was screaming and also running after the male.

I was attempting to gain control of the scene along with other officers. The female then stated her infant son was locked in the hotel room. This information was put out over the radio and an officer was able to get the front desk clerk to unlock the door to room [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I canvassed the surrounding area due to multiple reports from concerned citizens that the black male had fled into the wood line between Popeyes and McDonalds. I then responded back to room [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and spoke with the female on scene.

I was able to identify the female as Ja’breisha Wallace. Wallace stated her baby’s daddy came home from work and gave her a dirty look. Wallace stated that her baby’s daddy is KENDALL EARLY. Wallace stated they were arguing in the room and that she was laying on the bed with their son, when Early struck her in the leg with a belt. Wallace stated Early struck her once with the belt. Wallace stated Early has been violent with her in the past. Wallace stated they continued arguing and walked out of the room, leaving the door cracked, so they could smoke a black and mild.

Wallace stated once they were outside, they continued to argue, and Early was chasing her around vehicles. Wallace stated she called the police, but disconnected the line, and once Early became aware of the fact that the police were called he closed the door to the room. Wallace stated Early screamed at her and said good luck getting your baby out of the room. The baby is [REDACTED BY AGENCY] DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY] 2026. Wallace stated Early began to leave the area but was on the phone with one of his homeboys trying to get picked up. I checked Wallace for any signs of physical injury on her leg but no visible mark was observed. I provided Wallace with the case number and a victim rights handout.

While I was speaking with Wallace, other officers made contact with Kendall Early. Early came out of the woods and met up with the officer’s in the parking lot of the Popeyes. Early was covered in mud and disheveled. I informed Early that he was under arrest for simple battery and read him miranda warning at approximately 2214 hours. Early stated he got home from work and gave his girl a dirty look in a playful manner and she got upset. Early stated they began arguing and he popped her with his belt. Early stated he hit her with the belt in a playful manner.

Early stated they were arguing and that Wallace is crazy. Early stated they always argue and he thinks she is stressed out because she’s stuck at home with the baby. I asked Early why he ran from us and he stated because he is scared of the police and never has good luck with them. I explained to Early that him fleeing from us and not giving us his side of the story never looks good. I informed Early he is being charged with Simple Battery FVA.

Early’s mother, [REDACTED], was on scene while I was speaking with Early. She stated her son had called her on the phone and she told him to go to the police. During my questioning of Early, at the Popeyes, Wallace came over with the baby in a stroller. Wallace began yelling abusive language at Early and [REDACTED]. Wallace was warned multiple times to return to her room. Wallace did not comply with the commands to stop yelling and leave the scene and she was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. Wallace was in front of the McDonalds with several people in the drive through while yelling abusive and profane language. Wallace was transported to the Glynn County Detention Center by Officer Pritchett. Early was transported to the Glynn County Detention Center by Officer Moses.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] was placed in the custody of his grandmother, [REDACTED], who was on scene. [REDACTED] was given access to the room so she could gather belongings needed to care for the child. Wallace agreed to allow [REDACTED] to have the baby in order for DFACS not to have to respond. [REDACTED] was also given several items that belong to Early, at his request. She was provided with my contact information and a case number.

Violator arrested for what offense:

Simple Battery (EARLY)
Disorderly Conduct (Wallace)
