On Nov 24th 2024 at around 1448 hrs, I was dispatched to Glynco Pkwy at Gateway Blvd in reference to a traffic stop.

Before my arrival, Officer Sarti advised he was behind a vehicle with an expired registration, and no insurance. He further advised the vehicle did not have a functioning brake light and he would be conducting a traffic stop.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with Officer Sarti and the suspect, Keith Sapp. Officer Ramirez advised Sapps’ license was suspended, and I overheard Officer Sarti say Sapp had an active warrant out for his arrest. At this point, I placed Sapp into handcuffs and under arrest.

Officer Sarti confirmed the warrant, a Felony Theft By Conversion warrant and a Felony Theft By Taking.

Sapp was searched incident to arrest and no items of evidentiary value were discovered.

During an inventory of the vehicle, a small bottle with a glass pipe was located.

Eastside towing arrived to collect the vehicle.

Sapp was transported to the CDC where he was served his warrants, and booked on his charges. While reading Sapp his warrants, he spontaneously stated I mean I did that”. Sapp stated he was out of work, and went and pawned the trailer. He stated he shouldn’t have done it, and that he was desperate and needed money.

Once I left, the jail called and asked to correct paperwork. Upon my arrival, I was made aware that th SO had an additional warrant to be served through their agency. I obliged.
