On March 11th, 2026, at approximately 0905 hours, I, OFC Curvin (Badge #119), was dispatched and responded to the Glynn County Police Department Headquarters in reference to a child abuse.

Upon entering the lobby, I met and spoke with [WITNESS #1], the step-mother of the alleged juvenile victim. [WITNESS #1] informed me that the on March 10th, at approximately between 1000-1030 hours, her step-son was beaten by his biological mother, Laytoya Chester. [WITNESS #1] stated that the juvenile told her that his mother climbed on his back and punched him several times in the head.

[WITNESS #1] provided two case reports of incidents that have occurred at the residence which have been linked and uploaded to evidence.com. She also provided an image of the juvenile which she took the following morning to show the injuries he received to his face. I uploaded the image of the child to evidence.com as well.

With the information collected, [WITNESS #1] also informed me she would be speaking with DFACS and the middle school the juvenile attends because he is not safe with Laytoya. I informed [WITNESS #1] I would begin the report and handed her a case card for reference.
