On 09/07/2026 1949 hours dispatched advised officers of an active domestic dispute at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and that the offender later identified Madison Jones was attempting to leave the residence in a black Lexus RX450Hbearing GA tag [REDACTED] as she was reportedly under the influence of alcohol.

Upon arrival the area, I observed a black Lexus SUV reversing out of the driveway of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and start heading towards the exit. As my lights and sirens were already activated, I pulled directly in front of the vehicle and blocked its movement. I then exited my car and made contact with Ms. Jones in her vehicle, to whom stated she “got in a fight with my baby daddy”. I immediately smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Ms. Jones’ person and observed her eyes to be bloodshot and red. I then asked her to step out of the vehicle.

When having Ms. Jones step out of the vehicle, I asked if she had consumed any alcohol, tO which she stated no. I then informed Ms. Jones that I could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage while she was in the vehicle, and once she was separated from it as well. Ms. Jones stated “I’m sober” when asking the last time she consumed alcohol. When going into the details of the domestic, Ms. Jones was asked what occurred, to which she would answer “an argument” or “kids” when asking if children were involved. Ms. Jones seemed to have a hard time recollecting the events of what transpired, and kept giving short answer responses/ or losing track of the conversation mid-sentence. Ms. Jones also stated her uncle lives near by and she was going home, however she was leaving the residence that was on her license, and attempting to exit the neighborhood.

Ms. Jones started becoming more aggressive as Ofc. Sullivan and Ofc. Bittle arrived on scene, however no one was provoking her. I then ordered her to come to the rear of my patrol car, to create more distance between her and the other party. At this point Ms. Jones pulled away from me, and Ofc. Bittle stepped in, and placed her in investigative detention. Ms. Jones then became extremely resistant, and tried to counteract officers movements, that were trying to place her in a patrol car. While in the rear of Ofc. Sullivan’s patrol car, Ms. Jones became increasingly violent and ultimately kicked Ofc. Bittle.

Due to my observations with Ms. Jones:
-Odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her person
-Difficulty concentrating
-Incomplete sentences and losing train of thought
-Blood shot glassy eyes
-Variety of emotional effects

I found probable cause to arrest her for DUI Less Safe. I read Ms. Jones the Georgia Implied Consent (Green Card) for the state administered test of her blood, to which she would not give a yes or no. Ms. Jones kept asking for her wallet, to which I advised her without a verbal yes or no I would take as a refusal. Ms. Jones again would not answer, to which I then took as a refusal.

A DDS 1205 form was filled out on scene, and served to Ms. Jones. License was collected and turned in with DDS 1205 form.

Violator arrested for what offense:
-DUI Less Safe

Ofc. Sullivan and Ofc. Bittle transported Ms. Jones to the Glynn County Detention Center
