On the above date at approximately 8:51 am. I was dispatched to 5323 New Jesup Highway, Brunswick, Georgia, in reference to a welfare check.
Upon arrival at the location we observed Michael Matsos, who matched the callers description, urinating in the grass on Cary St across from Woodspring Suites. I observed Matsos had his pants unzipped with his pe*is exposed and his buttocks partially exposed during the whole duration of him urinating. When questioned what he was doing, Matsos stated that he has diabetes and had to go really bad since he had visited five hotels on this date.
Matsos appeared to be suffering from a mental episode during this time, stating that he was a Navy Seal and repeatedly stated that he would never urinate in front of children. At this time, I advised Matsos that he was under arrest for public indecency and placed him in double-locked handcuffs behind his back.
Matsos was then transported to the Glynn County Detention Center and released to booking with no further incident.
