On 12/23/25 at 2122 hours, Glynn County Police Department responded to One Stop gas station located at 4544 Old Cypress Mill Road, Brunswick, GA in reference to a fight.
Glynn County Dispatch advised they received a call stating multiple people were engaged in a fight and someone was trying to kill someone. The caller stated a subject had a knife and a male was being beat with a chair and stick. Additionally, there was a male being drug behind the building. Due to the call notes, I initiated my emergency lights and siren, responding to the incident.
I arrived on scene at approximately 2125 hours from Old Cypress Mill Road and was flagged down by a Hispanic female pointing at a male subject laying in the grass on the side of the building. During this time, additional Officers arrived from Old Jesup Road and made contact with several parties at [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road.
I made contact with the subject laying in the grass, later identified by Mexico Identification card, [VICTIM #1]. I observed Mr. [VICTIM #1] to have swelling to his right eye, causing his eye to be almost closed shut. I confirmed he did not have a stab wound.
One caller, [WITNESS #1], advised the suspect was behind the fence located to the south of my location. I briefly went behind the fence and observed several Officers detaining a subject in a red shirt, later identified as Pablo Dominguez.
I returned to Mr. [VICTIM #1] to attempt to get information using Vioance Language Services due to him only speaking Spanish. Using the translator from the language line, I attempted to obtain his identifying information as well as what happened. Mr. [VICTIM #1] was unable to provide any information and when asked about injuries, he insisted he was not injured nor had anything happened.
Due to his speech and red eyes, it was evident Mr. [VICTIM #1] was under the influence of a high level of alcohol concentration. I located his wallet where I observed his Mexico ID and documented his name before Officer McMullen arrived and stayed with Mr. [VICTIM #1]. A photograph of Mr. [VICTIM #1]’s eye was uploaded to evidence.com.
I then responded to the curtilage of [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road where several Officers and numerous parties on scene. I was advised by Officer Gracia one subject identified as [VICTIM #2] was currently in the process of being transported from a laceration to his leg. I was unable to make contact with Mr. [VICTIM #2] because he was immediately taken to Southeast Georgia Health Systems by EMS.
I then made contact with a second victim of the stabbing, [VICTIM #3], near the back porch of the residence. Mr. [VICTIM #3] was shirtless and I observed a bandaged wound to his left rib area. I again called Voiance Language Services and attempted to speak with him regarding the incident. Mr. [VICTIM #3] also appeared to be heavily intoxicated on alcohol during our conversation.
Mr. [VICTIM #3] was able to provide his name but he was unable to provide any further identifiers. Mr. [VICTIM #3] advised he was at a house party at the residence when the suspect arrived and began causing issues with the other attendees. The suspect then began stabbing and fighting people resulting in him being stabbed on his left side. Mr. [VICTIM #3] stated he could not provide any suspect information because he did not know him nor saw what he was wearing.
Mr. [VICTIM #3] provided no further information and was seen by EMS. The medical personnel momentarily removed his bandage where I observed a circular wound approximately the size of a quarter with yellow fatty tissue protruding. Due to the momentarily glimpse, I was unable to photograph the wound. Mr. [VICTIM #3] was then transported by EMS to Southeast Georgia Health Systems.
I was advised by Officer Collins and Officer Sullivan the stabbing suspect was Mr. Dominguez, who was currently detained in Officer Collins’ patrol vehicle. Mr. Dominguez was encountered attempting to leave in a Green Honda Civic displaying Georgia License plate [REDACTED].
The suspected weapon was located on the hood of his vehicle and remained untouched by Officer’s on scene. I observed a large silver knife, similar to a kitchen knife, on the hood of his vehicle. I did not visually observe any blood residue.
I also observed what appeared to be a recently shattered driver’s window with glass inside the vehicle. Nearby, approximately thirty feet south of the vehicle’s location, I observed a large debris of shattered glass on the ground and a metal ladder nearby.
Officers Lund, Himes and Sullivan began obtaining witness statements from other parties on scene while I responded inside the gas station to obtain video footage. I made contact with a manager who allowed me to review video surveillance footage from all angles surrounding the business. May it be noted, the video surveillance footage appeared to be approximately fifteen minutes ahead of the current time. According to the surveillance system, at approximately 2134 hours, I observed what appeared to be several individuals engaging in an altercation in the back yard of [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road. This view was from the rear camera of the business.
I observed several parties appear to be wielding metal chairs and swinging them at a subject wielding what appeared to be a knife, who was actively swinging it toward them. One subject appeared to fall on the ground while several parties run out of view, toward the side of One Stop, behind the fence. I was unable to identify any party in this view due to the lighting and distance from the camera.
I then reviewed the camera of the side of the business, where Mr. [VICTIM #1] was found on the ground. According to video footage, at approximately 2135 hours I observed Mr. Dominguez wearing a red polo shirt with a knife in his right hand, running toward the front of the business. Directly behind him, I observed Mr. [VICTIM #1] running in the same direction and being struck by a thrown metal chair.
Following closely behind, I observed three additional Hispanic males, later identified as Henry Bautista, Jose Vazquez and Ociel Perez. Henry Bautista was seen on video footage wearing a white long sleeve shirt and black hat. Jose Vazquez was seen wearing a brown jacket and jeans. Ociel Perez was seen wearing a long sleeve gray shirt, multi colored hat and jeans. Mr. Perez was wielding a long stick and Mr. Bautista was seen wielding a second metal chair. The subjects are only seen momentarily in this view.
I then observed the front camera of One Stop. At 2135 hours, I observed Mr. Dominguez run through the parking lot, north on Old Jesup Road. I then observed Mr. [VICTIM #1] who was struck with the metal chair by Mr. Bautista, causing him to fall against the brick wall. Mr. Vazquez approached Mr. [VICTIM #1] and began kicking his head while Mr. Perez struck Mr. [VICTIM #1] with the stick and Mr. Bautista struck Mr. [VICTIM #1] with the chair repeatedly.
Moments later, an unknown subject wearing a red shirt exited the One Stop causing the parties to stop and he was approached by Mr. Perez with the stick. Mr. Perez begins to strike at him before realizing this subject is not Mr. Dominguez and he returns to the group. All three subjects then drag Mr. [VICTIM #1] on the ground back toward the side of the building, where they came from.
I then watched the side camera view again where I observed Mr. [VICTIM #1] being drug in the grass, toward [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road. While dragging him, Mr. Vasquez is seen repeatedly punching Mr. [VICTIM #1] in the facial area. Mr. Perez drops the stick and begins striking Mr. [VICTIM #1] in the body and head with his fist several times.
Mr. Vazquez and Mr. Bautista stop dragging Mr. [VICTIM #1] and begin walking toward [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road while Mr. Perez kicks Mr. [VICTIM #1] several times in the head before also returning to [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road. From the video footage, it appears Mr. [VICTIM #1] may have become unconscious due to his body not moving and no self defense movements.
I then observed the front camera view facing Old Jesup Road. I briefly observed the complainant, Mr. [WITNESS #1], exit a white passenger car and walk toward the incident during the altercation. It appeared as though he had a cell phone to his ear.
In the same view, I observed Mr. Dominguez walking past One Stop, toward [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road still holding the knife. Using Axon Capture, I recorded all camera footage and uploaded them to evidence.com. Detective Moses provided the store manager with a community request link for the original.
While reviewing video footage, Detective Moses and Detective Bergiadis arrived on scene. I reviewed the video footage with both of them before returning to the scene to attempt to identify the Mr. Perez, Mr. Vazquez and Mr. Bautista. Utilizing photograph’s taken from the footage, all parties were identified.
During my interaction with Mr. Vazquez, he was not wearing a brown jacket. We were advised by Officer Sullivan she located all three subjects in a vehicle. Detective Moses observed the vehicle, a silver SUV, where the subjects were located and observed a brown jacket with a white collar in the trunk of the vehicle.
It was later photographed by Evidence Technician [REDACTED] with the vehicle owner, [WITNESS #2]’s consent. All three suspects were taken into custody and transported to Glynn County Headquarters for questioning. Mr. Dominguez was also transported to Glynn County Headquarters for questioning.
Detective Bergiadis and I then responded to the front of [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road and met with Officer Lund and Officer Himes. They were standing by with the homeowner, [WITNESS #3], [WITNESS #2] and two other witnesses. Officer Lund stated he obtained statements from all parties, see supplement for further.
I was then advised Ms. [WITNESS #2]’s two children were still inside the vehicle where the three subjects were located. We requested Ms. [WITNESS #2] return to her vehicle while Officer’s stood by with them.
Detective Bergiadis and I then walked around the crime scene. All throughout the back yard, empty beer cans were located as well as several cases of beer. Additionally, several pieces of clothing were discovered to include hats, sunglasses and shoes. Metal chairs were located on the ground and around a table where food and more empty beer cans were located.
Near the area where video surveillance showed the initial altercation began, a second silver kitchen knife was located on the ground. No blood was observable on the knife. On the back porch, where I located Mr. [VICTIM #3], we observed several blood droplets on the steps leading out of the home. At this time, the residence was secured and Mr. [WITNESS #3]’s wife was requested to leave the home due to scene security.
I then responded to speak with Ms. [WITNESS #2] to ask her a few questions due to her husband being currently under arrest. Ms. [WITNESS #2]’s two children were able to translate due to Ms. [WITNESS #2] speaking only Spanish.
I asked her where she was when the fight occurred. She advised she was in the bathroom at One Stop with her Husband. When they returned to the party, she saw Mr. Dominguez with the knife. She immediately left to the vehicle to stay away from the fight. When asked if her husband was involved, she stated she did not believe so but he would not come back to the car with her because he wanted to help her brother.
Shortly thereafter, Evidence Technician [REDACTED] arrived on scene and photographed the jacket located in the trunk of her vehicle. I stood by on scene while Evidence Technician [REDACTED] photographed the chair and stick located on the side of One Stop.
At the front of the business, a dirty white sock and pair of keys were located in the vicinity where Mr. [VICTIM #1] was drug. Both were photographed. She then left to Southeast Georgia Health Systems to photograph Mr. [VICTIM #2] and Mr. [VICTIM #3]’s injuries.
I remained on scene for scene security until the Search Warrant was signed. When she arrived back on scene, Officer Gracia contacted me requesting I locate Mr. [VICTIM #3]’s clothing. Crime Scene Technician [REDACTED] and I located a tan pull over, gray t shirt and red sweater located next to the back porch of [600 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road.
Shortly thereafter, multiple Detectives arrived advising the search warrant was signed. Officer Lang and I assisted in evidence collection. When photographing the tan pullover and gray t shirt, I observed a small hole, consistent with where he was stabbed. The clothing appeared to be soiled in blood in the same area.
Crime Scene Technician [REDACTED] collected these items along with the sock, keys and knives. Swabs were taken of the blood droplets on the porch steps. After entering the residence, nothing of evidentiary value was located. Detective Sarti provided Mr. [WITNESS #3] with his copy of the search warrant.
