On September 15, 2026 at 0406 hours I was dispatched and responded to [11900 BLOCK] Old Demere Road in reference to an Assault.
Upon my arrival, I made contact with Miss [VICTIM #1]. I Officer A. Parke #147 and Officer B. Griffis #162 arrived on scene with me to assist. Miss [VICTIM #1] was sitting in her car when we pulled up. Ofc. Parke and walked over to the vehicle and Miss [VICTIM #1] got out of her vehicle. Miss [VICTIM #1] was hysterical. You could see on Miss [VICTIM #1]’s face where blood had come out her nose and ran down her face. There was also blood on Miss [VICTIM #1]’s chest, legs and arms.
Miss [VICTIM #1] was not being very cooperative and continuously stated she did not want him arrested for something he didn’t do. Ofc. Parke and Ofc. Griffis attempted to make contact with “Patrick”. Miss [VICTIM #1] and I walked to the other side of her vehicle. Miss [VICTIM #1] was yelling about her nose being broken, and I told her there was no proof of it being broken, but blood had come out of her nose. Miss [VICTIM #1] stated, again, she did not want him being arrested for something he did not do.
Miss [VICTIM #1] stated she was mentally damaged and caused harm to her self. I had Miss [VICTIM #1] turn her hands over and I observed a cut on her wrist. I asked Miss [VICTIM #1] what happened and she stated she cut herself with his razor. The cut down her arm, but was not deep enough to cause any real harm. I asked Miss [VICTIM #1] multiple times what happened, and she refused to answer.
I asked Miss [VICTIM #1] for her driver’s license, and she stated it was in her purse inside the car. Miss [VICTIM #1] handed me her driver’s license, and I told her to speak to the EMTs. Miss [VICTIM #1] stepped over to the EMTs and one of the asked what happened to her nose, and she stated he hit her. Miss [VICTIM #1] went with the EMTs and got onto the squad. Ofc. Parke and Ofc. Griffis had been trying to get “Patrick” to answer the door. Ofc. Parke was finally able to make contact with and older white male at the back of the residence.
After making contact it was discovered the residence was duplex and not a single residence. While looking through the front windows you could see some furniture turned on its side, but could not tell to what extent the damage was, if any. Contact was finally made with Mr. Patrick Langley, Miss [VICTIM #1]’s boyfriend. Mr. Langley originally stated he had been asleep for hours, but was not sure what time he laid down to sleep.
When asked about Miss [VICTIM #1], Mr. Langley stated she left hours ago and asked if she was ok. Ofc. Parke asked Mr. Langley about what happened to Miss [VICTIM #1], again, and stated he had been asleep for hours, and did not know what happened to her and asked if she was ok (again). Mr. Langley stated Miss [VICTIM #1] had cut herself, but that was earlier. Ofc. Griffis was checking Mr. Langley for any kind of makes resulting from being in a physical confrontation. When Ofc. Griffis had Mr. Langley turn his hands over, I observed a small amount of blood on the outside of his left palm. Upon further inspection blood was observed on the left side of Mr. Langley’s neck and the back of his left arm.
There was also a small drop of blood in the area Mr. Langley’s right ankle and the back of his right foot. Ofc. Parke told Mr. Langley he originally stated he did not know what happened to Miss [VICTIM #1] and now is saying she cut her self, and Mr. Langley stated “I feel like I need counsel before I answer anymore questions.”. At that point Mr. Langley was informed he being placed under arrest for Battery. Mr. Langley’s hands were placed behind his back, and I used two sets of handcuffs to cuff him due to how wide his shoulders were. Both sets of handcuffs were checked for tightness and double locked.
Ofc. Parke asked Mr. Langley if he had a phone we wanted to take with him to the jail, and he stated it was broken and Miss [VICTIM #1] was the one who broke it. Ofc. Parke read Mr. Langley his Miranda Rights and Mr. Langley stated he did not want to answer anymore questions. Mr. Langley was escorted to the rear of Ofc. Parke’s patrol vehicle. I assisted Ofc. Parke in fastening the lap and shoulder restraint over Mr. Langley. Ofc. Parke transported Mr. Langley to the Glynn County Detention Center.
