On the above date, I responded to 139 Altama Connector (UPS Store) in reference to a problem person. From reading the cad notes, it stated that it was white male who was yelling at customers who was wearing a orange shirt with a shopping cart.
After reading the cad notes, I knew who the subject was due to other calls that came out earlier with the same behavior. I arrived at UPS store to speak with the complainant, later identified as [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated that there was white male wearing an orange shirt who came inside the store, yelling profanities at customers.
[WITNESS #1] stated that he was asked to leave but did so reluctantly. While he was leaving, he began to still create a disturbance with other customers outside. Officer C. Talbert got out with the male in front of Cricket Wireless next door at another shopping area. After getting [WITNESS #1]’s statement, I met Officer Talbert at Cricket Wireless.
When I arrived, I saw the male subject sitting on the curb and it was in fact the same guy that we have been dealing with all day long, later identified as Shawn Bonar. Shawn was criminally trespassed from the Publix shopping mall area for his behavior that he was exhibiting at the UPS store. Shawn was still yelling and cursing at the time I informed him he was under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.
Shawn was handcuffed checked for tightness and then double locked. Shawn was searched and placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle, secured in a seatbelt. On the transport to the CDC, Shawn was still yelling and screaming profanities. I arrived at CDC and Shawn was released CDC jail staff for further booking.
