On 12/5/2025 at 0419 hours, I was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a burglary in progress. As I pulled into the parking lot of the West Belmont apartment complex, I observed multiple residents standing outside of their apartments.
When I arrived on scene, I observed Ofc. Orellana standing by with a male at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. That male was identified as Carlos Jordan. Carlos advised he did not live at the West Belmont apartment complex.
As I spoke with Carlos, Lt. Tanner spoke with the complainant, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. As officers on scene were speaking with Carlos, Lt. Tanner advised me to place Carlos under arrest. Lt. At 0426 hours Carlos was placed under arrest. Cuffs were placed to the rear, double locked, and checked for proper fit.
I then spoke with the complainant, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised at approximately 0415 hours she was woken up by loud banging on her front door of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and someone screaming outside.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised as she opened the door, a black male was screaming in her face and bumped into her with his chest while saying “let’s get it on,”.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised a neighbor that overheard the commotion walked outside of the apartment, and as he walked out [REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked him to call 911.
[REDACTED] wrote a victim statement which is attached to this report.
At approximately 0430 hours I transported Carlos to the Gordon County Jail. At the Jail I read Carlos his Miranda Rights, and Carlos advised he wished to speak with me.
I asked Carlos why he was at the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and he advised he was attempting to locate [REDACTED] boyfriend due to him possibly stealing his phone.
I asked Carlos if he ever made any physical contact with [REDACTED] and he advised he never did.
State warrants for Simple Battery, Loitering or Prowling, and Disorderly Conduct have been applied for.
