On Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at 2035 hours I was dispatched to 731 East Highway 53 (Ruby Tuesday’s) in reference to a hit and run that occurred on South Wall Street at East Highway 53.

Upon arrival I made contact with the victim/complainant [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she was waiting at the redlight on South Wall Street waiting to turn left onto East Highway 53. She stated she was in the right left hand turn lane. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was driving a Silver 2015 Toyota Camry bearing [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She stated a silver hatchback vehicle rear ended her and she made contact with the driver and advised her to pull into ABC Liquor so she could call the police. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she pulled into ABC Liquor and the other vehicle continued East on Highway 53. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the other driver did not attempt to exchange information or anything. I did observe minor damage to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] back bumper.

Shortly after speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in person, I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by phone to which she advised her friend had made a post on Facebook requesting anyone who witnessed the accident to come forward. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated someone took a picture of the tag and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] identified the vehicle as a 2014 Ford Focus and Christina Luna was the driver who left the scene. The tag on the other vehicle is [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I checked the tag through NCIC/GCIC and the tag came back as a 2014 Silver Ford Focus to Christina Luna. The vehicle registration was expired as of 09/23/2025. Christina’s drivers’ license was also expired as of 09/22/2025. The address listed on Christina’s drivers’ license was [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Myself and Deputy Burns #162 with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office went to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to attempt to make contact with Christina.

Upon our arrival we made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is Christina’s sister. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Christina did not live there anymore but she would call her. Christina did not answer the phone but texted back and forth with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Christina said that the damage on her vehicle was not bad, and the other driver said everything was fine. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then texted Christina and told her that she needed to turn herself in tonight to avoid warrants being placed on her. Christina told [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that she was not coming tonight but she would tomorrow. Christina then texted [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and said that she was exercising her constitutional right to remain silent. I then advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY], that Christina would have active warrants.

I have obtained warrants on Christina for the following: Hit and Run, Following too Closely, Expired tag, and Expired Drivers’ License.
