On Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, at approximately 2249 hours, Deputy C.J. WALKER with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Lakecrest Cir SW, Calhoun, Gordon County, Ga in reference to a domestic report involving a firearm.
Upon arrival, Deputy WALKER met with the complainant, [VICTIM #1], who gave Deputy WALKER consent to enter the residence. Upon entering, Deputy WALKER noticed glass all over the floor, small caliber bullets on the floors, and several other household goods scattered across the living room.
Deputy WALKER asked [VICTIM #1] what had happened for there to be such a mess. [VICTIM #1] stated that he and his wife, AMY ANGLIN, are separated and currently going through a divorce, but that AMY does not live at the residence with him. [VICTIM #1] stated that at approximately 2100 hours this date, AMY gained access to the residence via her garage door opener that was still programmed to the garage.
Upon entering, [VICTIM #1] stated that AMY made her way from the garage, straight to the storage compartment on the left-side of the loveseat which contained a Ruger Wrangler .22LR Revolver. [VICTIM #1] stated that AMY removed the revolver and pointed the revolver directly at [VICTIM #1], demanding him to sit down on the couch. Following being forced to sit on the couch at gunpoint, [VICTIM #1] stated that AMY wanted [VICTIM #1] to come clean about a DUI he was arrested for in Bartow County, a DUI [VICTIM #1] stated he kept secret from AMY.
[VICTIM #1] stated that after admitting to receiving a DUI, AMY demanded [VICTIM #1] to give her his phone due to having an inquiry that [VICTIM #1] was talking to another female. [VICTIM #1] stated he refused, but admitted to AMY he had been texting another woman. [VICTIM #1] stated that during AMY questioning him, AMY continued to hold [VICTIM #1] at gunpoint on the couch.
[VICTIM #1] stated that after he admitted to AMY about talking to another female, AMY lost control and started breaking different household goods within the living room. [VICTIM #1] stated that while AMY was breaking things, [VICTIM #1] got off the couch and approached AMY in an attempt to disarm her of the revolver. [VICTIM #1] stated that after a brief struggle, [VICTIM #1] was able to remove the revolver from AMY’s grasp.
[VICTIM #1] stated that AMY continued to destroy items while [VICTIM #1] made his way to the kitchen to drop the revolver off on the counter. [VICTIM #1] stated that while he was in the kitchen, AMY approached him making threats toward him.
Deputy WALKER questioned [VICTIM #1] as to if there were any indoor cameras or any videos of AMY to prove she was threatening him. [VICTIM #1] provided Deputy WALKER with a video he took from his cell phone of AMY stating “Are you ready? For me to take your fu*king life from you.” [VICTIM #1] stated that after their conversation, AMY left through the garage at approximately 2210 hours this date.
Deputy WALKER asked [VICTIM #1] if there was any BLINK doorbell footage of AMY arriving and or leaving the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated there was not, but provided Deputy WALKER with 2202 hour time-stamp of the video he took in the kitchen of AMY making the threat, confirming AMY was at the residence.
When questioned, [VICTIM #1] stated that AMY drives a 2014 Maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee with the V.I.N [REDACTED], and may possibly be residing at her friend [REDACTED]’s house somewhere in Calhoun. Deputy WALKER walked through the residence with [VICTIM #1] in order to log inventory and monetary value of all items damaged.
[VICTIM #1] stated that AMY destroyed two Candle Lanterns, estimating $8.00 a piece, one Lamp, estimating $15.00, one glass bowl, estimating $10.00, and a white porcelain deer decoration, estimating $5.00. All damages concluded in an estimated $46.00 worth of damages. Deputy WALKER took pictures on the scene, logged all damaged property and their monetary values, retrieved footage of AMY making the threat and uploaded all information to the incident report and the corresponding case file.
Prior to leaving the scene, Deputy WALKER was able to make contact with AMY via [VICTIM #1]’s cellphone. Deputy WALKER asked AMY to meet him at either [VICTIM #1]’s residence or the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office in order to retrieve her side of the story in person. AMY agreed to meet Deputy WALKER at the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy WALKER left the scene at approximately 0040 hours and arrived at the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 0054 hours on February 4th, 2026.
Deputy WALKER met with AMY in the parking lot of the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office. [VICTIM #1] arrived on scene as well. Deputy WALKER asked [VICTIM #1] to fill out a witness statement in reference to this incident whilst Deputy WALKER spoke with AMY separately. AMY stated to Deputy WALKER a relatively similar recollection of her side of the incident except AMY stated she arrived at [VICTIM #1]’s at approximately 2200 hours and left at approximately 2300 hours.
AMY also stated that she never pointed the revolver at [VICTIM #1], but threw it across the room in an attempt to locate her charger. AMY also stated that she never threatened [VICTIM #1] despite Deputy WALKER having video evidence of the threat being made.
Following AMY giving her statement, both verbally and written, Deputy WALKER placed AMY under arrest.
