On Friday, December 19, 2025, at 0024 hours, DEPUTY C.L. HILES with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was dispatched to the TALKING ROCK CREEK PAVILLION, RANGER, GORDON COUNTY, GEORGIA, in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival. DEPUTY HILES made contact with a female subject identified as [VICTIM #1]. MS. [VICTIM #1] stated that they were in their residence at [1400 BLOCK] HANNAH DR NE, RANGER, GORDON COUNTY, GEORGIA, and MS. [VICTIM #1] had just picked up a male subject identified DEVIN ALLEN MYERS from work.
MS. [VICTIM #1] stated that MR. MYERS was angry for most of the day on the date of DECEMBER 18, 2025. MS. MS. [VICTIM #1] stated that while inside of the residence she felt like MR. MYERS was angry and she feared for her safety thinking he was going to push her down the stairs. MS. [VICTIM #1] stated that MR. MYERS was angry and he grabbed her by her head and hit her in her right arm because she was attempting to leave the home in her vehicle. The juvenile, [JUVENILE #1] on scene witnessed MR. MYERS grab MS. [VICTIM #1] by her head and strike her arm.
DEPUTY HILES attempted to get a witness statement from MS. [VICTIM #1] but she stated that she could not read or write due to not having her glasses, and having dificulty with her hands.
DEPUTY HILES then went to the residence and cleared the residence as MR. MYERS was not there and had already left the scene before law enforcement could arrive on scene. MS.
