On December 21, 2024 at 1526 hours DEPUTY M.D. RALSTON with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Whipporwill Lane Calhoun, Gordon County Georgia in reference to a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival DEPUTY RALSTON observed five juveniles and two adults inside the residence, none of the subjects inside spoke English. DEPUTY RALSTON began getting statements from each person starting with Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] with Google translator. Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] stated the older male subject later identified to be JOSE LUIS RAMOS MENDOZA was throwing kitchen chairs and arguing with his wife [VICTIM #1]. Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] stated she attempted to stop the arguing but JOSE turned to her and was screaming. Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] stated she went into her room to call her mother [REDACTED] whom was at work. Juvenile [JUVENILE #1] began calling Gordon 911 while JOSE was attempting to get into her room.

While on scene DEPUTY RALSTON spoke with Juveniles [JUVENILE #2] and [JUVENILE #3] whom both stated JOSE was throwing chairs and yelling towards [VICTIM #1]. When DEPUTY RALSTON asked [VICTIM #1] she denied all accusations. Also on scene were Juveniles [JUVENILE #4] and [JUVENILE #5] that were present during to altercation but could not give a statement due to their age. All subjects mentioned in this report are family members that reside in said residence. [VICTIM #1] and JOSE are aunt and uncle to Juveniles [JUVENILE #2], [JUVENILE #3] and [JUVENILE #1]. Both Juvenile [JUVENILE #4] and [JUVENILE #5] are the children of JOSE and [VICTIM #1].

DEPUTY RALSTON placed JOSE under arrest for Disorderly conduct and transported him to the Gordon County Jail. DEPUTY RALSTON attached a DFACS referral to this report.
