On Monday, March 2, 2026, at 0135 hours, DEPUTY C.L. HILES with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was dispatch to 6954 HIGHWAY 53, CALHOUN, GORDON COUNTY, GEORGIA, in reference to a rolling domestic dispute in the roadway.
Upon arrival DEPUTY HILES began searching the area where the male subject involved was last seen. While searching another deputy came over the radio and had stopped the male subject at ERWIN RD on HIGHWAY 53. DEPUTY HILES then identified the male subject as MALIK ROBERT STEVEN DAVIS.
MR. DAVIS stated that himself and his girlfriend a female subject by the name of [VICTIM #1], had gotten into an argument while inside of the vehicle. He stated there was nothing physical bewteen the two parties but he did get on top of the car to prevent her from driving eratic because she was upset.
DEPUTY HILES then placed MR. DAVIS into the back of his patrol car and placed him under arrest for DISORDERLY CONDUCT.
DEPUTY PHILLIPS returned to the scene and gathered the complainants information. The complainant was a female subject identified as [WITNESS #1]. MS. [WITNESS #1] stated that she was inside her home and heard yelling from outside. When she looked outside she could see MR. DAVIS on top of the car and the female subject was screaming call 911. All of this occuring in the roadway of HIGHWAY 53.
DEPUTY HILES wrote a magistrate court citation for DISORDERLY CONDUCT, and transported MR. DAVIS to the Gordon County Jail without further incident.
