GORDON COUNTY, Ga. – On Thursday, June 27, 2024, two former Calhoun School District employees were indicted on charges involving first-degree sexual contact with students by employees or agents. According to the Gordon County indictment, Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler faced accusations of having sex with students sometime between October 2021 and January 2022.
Greeson allegedly had sexual intercourse with two male students and Shuler with one male student during that time. Officials have not yet released the students’ ages or the names of the schools they attended.
The indictment stated that the employees “reasonably should have known” they were violating Georgia Code 16-6-5.1(b). It does not disclose which school or schools in the district employed the women.
This case is currently pending in court.
