On Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2246 hours, DEPUTY C.L. HILES with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] WALNUT HILL DR SE, CALHOUN, GORDON COUNTY, GEORGIA in reference to a physical domestic.

Upon arrival DEPUTY HILES entered the front porch, DEPUTY HILES could then hear what seemed to be a male yelling very loudly in a bedroom with the light on. DEPUTY HILES knocked on the door and when he and other deputies announced themselves as the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office, another deputy on scene could see a male subject looking through the window of the lit bedroom.

Deputies on scene where able to get a male subject identified as, URIEL JUAN VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT to come to the door. DEPUTY HILES had asked MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT where the female subject was at in the residence and when deputies attempted to get the female to the door but MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT was very resistant in having the female come to the door and speak to deputies.

DEPUTY HILES then requested MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT to produce his identification and step out of the residence because of the very animated behavior MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT was presenting. MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT was not obeying any deputy, that was in lawful discharge of their duties loud verbal commands and did not present his identification.

Once MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT stepped out of the residence deputies attempted to detain him to which MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT refused to comply. Once deputies gained control and secured MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT, he was searched and then placed into the back of DEPUTY HILES patrol unit.

DEPUTY MARTIN then spoke to the complainant, a neighbor and they stated that MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT was physically assaulting the female subject. The complainant stated that MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT had his hands around the female subject’s neck, threw her to the ground, and punch her in the face.

While doing this, MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT was yelling obscene and vulgar language so loud as to incite an immediate breach of peace. The complainant also stated that MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT had taken the females bag preventing her from leaving. The complainant requested to be anonymous and not included in the report as they feared repercussions.

Deputies attempted to speak to the female on scene but she refused to cooperate. The female on scene and MR. VAZQUEZ SEGUINOT do not live together and have never lived together. DEPUTY HILES took out state warrants for Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of officers.
