On June 23rd, 2026 at 2010 hours, I, Cpl Rory Brown was dispatched to [REDACTED] in reference to threats with a knife. Upon my arrival officers made contact with the victim [VICTIM #1].

[VICTIM #1] stated that she was walking through the apartment complex listening to gospel music. [VICTIM #1] further stated that Brittany Miller came outside and began arguing with her ([VICTIM #1]) about her ([VICTIM #1]) recording them (Brittany and her children). [VICTIM #1] advised that Brittany Miller (“The mama”) pulled the knife on her. [VICTIM #1] further advised that she told her (Miller) to shut up and leave her alone. [VICTIM #1] advised she is 8 months pregnant.

I made contact with the offender Brittany Miller. I asked Miller if there was a knife and her (Miller) and her family ([WITNESS #1], Juv. #1, Juv. #2) stated no but stated there was pepper spray involved. Miller stated that her daughter Juvenile #1 was playing outside. Miller further stated that her daughter made contact with [VICTIM #1] and an argument started about [VICTIM #1] allegedly recording her (Juv. #1). Miller advised that during the argument [VICTIM #1] repeatedly walked near their (Miller’s) residence. Miller stated she never left the threshold of the apartment. Miller denied having a knife. During my interactions with every party Miller was the only party to mention pepper spray.

During my interaction with Miller her partner/father of her child, [WITNESS #1] spoke up. [WITNESS #1] stated he was getting groceries out of his vehicle when the argument started. [WITNESS #1] stated that he has had problems with neighbors since they moved into these apartments. [WITNESS #1] advised that he attempted to intervene in the argument. Myself and other officers have responded multiple times to this residence in reference to confrontations with neighbors involving Miller and her family ([WITNESS #1], Juv. 1, Juv. 2).

I spoke with a witness [WITNESS #2]. [WITNESS #2] advised that he was sitting in his vehicle when the argument started. [WITNESS #2] heard the argument and got out of the vehicle. [WITNESS #2] observed [WITNESS #1] getting groceries out of his ([WITNESS #1]) vehicle when the pregnant lady ([VICTIM #1]) was walking by. [WITNESS #2] stated that Miller was “popping off” at the mouth at [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #2] further stated he did see Miller pull the knife while standing at the door. [WITNESS #2] advised that Miller was telling [VICTIM #1] to “come on” while holding the knife. [WITNESS #2] stated that Miller did not make any advances towards [VICTIM #1].

I spoke with another witness [WITNESS #3]. [WITNESS #3] stated she could not describe the knife but knew she (Miller) had a knife. [WITNESS #3] further stated that she was trying to hold [VICTIM #1] back so she would not go to Miller’s apartment. [WITNESS #3] advised that Miller stated “I’ll cut your baby out of you b*tch” while holding the knife. [WITNESS #3] stated that Miller’s partner was holding her back from exiting the doorway of the apartment.

I spoke with the final witness [WITNESS #4]. [WITNESS #4] stated that he heard all of the “commotion” outside his apartment [REDACTED] and walked outside. [WITNESS #4] further stated when he walked outside he saw his lady ([WITNESS #3]) holding her ([VICTIM #1]) back. [WITNESS #4] advised that Miller was holding a knife approximately 6-8 inches long with a silver in color serrated blade while making threats cut the baby out of [VICTIM #1]. While [WITNESS #4] was explaining how Miller was holding the knife he demonstrated it being pointed towards [VICTIM #1].

Miller was placed under arrest for Terroristic Threats and Acts and Cruelty to Children. This entire incident took place in the presence of Miller’s two juvenile children and multiple adults and children in the apartment complex parking lot. Miller was placed in handcuffs, behind the back, double locked, and checked for spacing.

While I was walking Miller to my patrol vehicle Juv. 1 and Juv. 2 stated “I’ll kill every last one of y’all”. Miller was placed in the back of my patrol vehicle. Miller was transported to the Cairo Police Department where she was processed on the offenses of Terroristic Threats and Acts and Two counts of Cruelty to Children 3rd degree. Miller was transported to the Grady County Detention Center where she was turned over to their staff. Warrants were applied for.
