On June 12th, 2026 at approximately 0048 hours I, Officer Harrell responded to [200 BLOCK] Humble Ave SW in reference to an altercation. Upon my arrival I made contact with the complainant [VICTIM #1].

[VICTIM #1] stated that she was listening to music with grandkids inside the residence and once it got late she asked them to settle down. [VICTIM #1] stated the grandkids became disrespectful and would not listen to her and started screaming and cursing at her. [VICTIM #1] stated that she wanted the grandkids to leave the residence.

I made contact with a male later identified as Demetrius Hittman Jr. Hittman came out on the porch acting in a aggressive manner and using threatening and abusive language. I told Hittman to calm down and to get his belongings to leave the property. Hittman returned back into the residence and started throwing his belongings on the porch using abusive language.

Once again I instructed Hittman to calm down. Hittman then used abusive language towards me and said “what are you going to do about it” and bowed up at me and SGT Weston. I then advised Hittman to place his hands behind his back. Hittman was arrested for Disorderly conduct with no further incident and transported to the Cairo Police Department where he was processed and later transported to the Grady County Detention Center for housing.
