On May 7th 2026, Deputies responded to a accident with injuries on US HWY 111 S and Holems CIr. Contact was made with both drivers. While I was doing a UTC to the driver Laci Crawford who was at fault. Sgt. Jackson had advised me that Crawford had admitted to have used “drugs” but would not say what drug. Crawford was placed under arrest for DUI and read implied consent for subject age 21 or over. Blood was request which she provided at the hospital. Crawford was than taken to the GCDC where she was booked and process and given two UTC for improper passing and DUI-less safe- Drugs. As for the other driver she was advised that a accident report would be made.
