Little Caesers in Snellville receives a 62% on their recent health inspection

Little Caesers, located at 3425 Centerville Hwy, Suite B1 in Snellville, received a score of 62 points out of a possible 100 points during their 07/30/2025 inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The violations noted by the inspector were:

Violation #1:
1-2A: .03(1)(a);(b);(c)1,4,5,6,7, 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16Person in charge cannot answer food safety questions such as allergens and employee health. The person in charge must be able to demonstrate their food safety knowledge through full compliance of the food code with no violations, be a Certified Food Safety Manager, or be able to provide correct answers to food safety questions as they relate to the food service operation at hand. Violation #2:
1-2A: .03(2)(a)-(l), (n)Today’s unsatisfactory score demonstrates a lack of managerial control within the facility. It is the responsibility of the person in charge to ensure compliance with the food code by demonstrating active managerial control within their facility. (Pf)

Violation #3:
1-2A: .03(2)(o)PIC not able to provide key drop delivery agreement and facility receives key drop. The business entity providing key drop deliveries to the establishment shall certify in writing to the establishment that the products delivered will be under its control throughout the delivery process to the establishment, and that all products will be delivered to the establishment during the key drop delivery hours pursuant to the secured access arrangement set by the food service establishment. Violation #4:
2-2A: .03(2)(m)PIC cannot demonstrate in a verifiable manner that food employees are/were informed of their responsibility to report symptoms and/or illnesses *2nd consecutive violation Food employees and conditional employees shall be informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report to the person in charge information about their health and activities as they relate to diseases that are transmissible through food. (Pf)

Violation #5:
2-2D: .07(3)(b)Front hand sink does not have paper towels. Each handwashing sink shall be provided with individual, disposable towels, a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel, or a hand drying device. (Pf)
Corrective Actions: Paper towels were provided.

Violation #6:
2-2E: .03(6)PIC not able to provide procedures for vomit/diarrhea kit. *2nd consecutive violation A food establishment shall have procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the food service establishment. The procedures shall address the specific actions employees must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of employees, consumers, food, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter. Violation #7:
6-1D: .04(6)(i)Observed pizzas placed on time control without start/discard times or procedures. When using Time Control (TPHC) for a maximum of 4 hours: 1) hot foods shall start at 135°F (57°C) or above and cold foods shall start at 41°F (5°C) or below; (P) 2) the food items shall be labeled with a start and discard time, not to exceed 4 hours; (Pf) 3) foods not consumed before the discard time shall be discarded; (P) 4) when combining ingredients, the start/discard time for the foods shall reflect the start/discard time of the earliest ingredient placed on time control; {P) 5) food in unmarked containers or packages, or marked to exceed a 4-hour limit shall be discarded; (P) 6) written procedures TPHC shall be created in advance and made available upon the Health Authorities request. Corrective Actions: Items were discarded.

Violation #8:
6-2: .04(6)(g)Observed several time/temperature as a safety control (TCS) foods being held over 24hrs without a date mark. *2nd consecutive violation Refrigerated, ready-to-eat time/temperature control for safety foods prepared and held in a food establishment for more than 24-hours shall be clearly marked to indicate the date of prep or the date by with the food shall be used/discarded for a maximum of 7 days. The day of preparation shall be counted as Day 1. (Pf)
Corrective Actions: All items were discarded or date marked.

Violation #9:
9-2: .04(6)(j)Variance requirement of date and time being written on pizza sauce container not being followed. *2nd consecutive violation If granted a variance or a HACCP plan is otherwise required, the permit holder shall: 1) Comply with the HACCP plans and procedures that are submitted and deemed in conformance with DPH Rule 511-6-1-.02(6)(a) through (e) as a basis for the modification or waiver; (P) and 2) Maintain and provide to the Department, upon request, records specified under DPH Rule 511-6-1-.02(6). (Pf)
Corrective Actions: Pizza sauce discarded.

Violation #10:
10D: .04(4)(d)Observed multiple bottles/containers of unidentifiable foods being used without being labeled with common name. Except for containers holding food that can be readily and unmistakably recognized, such as dry pasta, working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages for use in the food establishment, such as cooking oils, flour, herbs, potato flakes, salt, spices, and sugar shall be clearly and legibly identified, in English, with the common name of the food. (C)

Violation #11:
12A: .04(4)(q)Observed cases of drinks being stored directly on floor. Food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food: 1) in a clean dry location; (C) 2) where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; (C) and 3) at least 6 inches (15 cm) above the floor. (C)

Violation #12:
15B: .05(3)(h),(i)Facility does not have test strips for sanitizer. Concentration of the sanitizing solution shall be accurately determined by using a test kit or other device. (Pf)

Additional remarks:
All cold holding and hot holding temperatures were in compliance unless otherwise noted.
***A follow up inspection will occur within 10 days.
***An additional routine inspection will occur within 1 year.
***3 consecutive violations of the same code provision will result in permit suspension.
