On Friday, September 19, 2025 at approximately 1104 hrs I Deputy Jonathan Maney was dispatched to a physical domestic at [200 BLOCK] Caputi Dr, Alto GA 30535. Dispatch advised that the caller stated her husband held her down and is threatening her. The caller also stated that her husband has a gun on his hip. I responded in a code three (emergency equipment activated) status. While en route dispatch advised that the caller stated her husband had put the gun on top of the TV stand.
Upon my arrival I observed Deputy Wayne Sless outside the residence with a male later identified as Christopher Morrow. I asked Morrow what happened and Morrow stated that his wife had stolen a flower pot that he painted. Morrow stated that his wife was divorcing him, had been taking his belongings and money. I asked Morrow if at anytime was the argument physical to which he replied “I did hold her down while she was trying to leave”.
I then went and spoke to the complainant identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that the argument started when Morrow came into the bedroom and ripped the covers from atop of her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Morrow held her down and accused her of stealing a painted flower pot. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that as Morrow held her down he threatened to break her arm. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not have any visible bruising from the incident.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that at one point during the domestic Morrow was in the kitchen facing back down the hallway. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Morrow had a pistol on his side. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Morrow pulled the pistol out and aimed it in her direction. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Morrow said he was going to shoot her and they would never be able to solve it. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Morrow said it would be a murder/suicide. At that point I went back out to Morrow.
I then placed Morrow in handcuffs from the rear checking for fit and double locked for safety. Morrow was escorted to my patrol vehicle were he was searched incident arrest before being secured in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle which had been cleared prior of any contraband. While I was gathering Circle of Hope information for [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Morrow stated that he thought he was having a heart attack. I radioed Dispatch and requested a med unit for a patient evaluation. I had Deputy Sless stand by with Morrow while I finished speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
I supplied [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with information for the Circle of Hope and advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to refer to them for further help with the domestic violence incident. I advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that they would be able to assist with the eviction process and filing for a temporary protection order. I also gave [REDACTED BY AGENCY] a case number and advised her that Morrow would be going to jail. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked if Morrow would be able to come back to the residence and I advised her that there would be bond conditions when and if Morrow is granted a bond.
I the returned to my patrol vehicle were EMS personnel accessed Morrow. EMS stated that there was no signs of a heart attack. Morrow was then transported to the Habersham County Detention Center where he was turned over to jail staff without incident. A intent to charge and victims notification form was completed. Prior to leaving the Detention Center my patrol vehicle was checked and cleared of any contraband.
Later this date I applied for and was granted the following warrants by Honorable Judge Amy Thomas.

Terroristic Threats and Acts

False Imprisonment
