On June 14, 2026, I Deputy Jenkins responded code one to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a TPO violation.

Upon my arrival, I met with the complainant and victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who stated that her ex-husband, David Hart had left her a voicemail at approximately 1 AM this date. She then provided a PPO (permanent protective order) from the Franklin County Superior Court that stated David Hart was to have no contact with her. The PPO stated the following;

Respondent is ordered not to have any contact, direct, indirect or through another person with petitioner, by telephone, fax, email, or any other means of communication

Franklin County was contacted to make sure the protective order was still valid to which they advised that it was. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that David had left another voicemail a couple of weeks ago where other deputies had responded and a warrant had been taken for that violation of the protective order. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that David did stay in Franklin County and stated that he should be home at this time. Franklin County deputies were contacted and they advised that they would try to locate him and take him into custody based on the warrant from the previous case.

A recording of the voicemail that David left [REDACTED BY AGENCY] is attached to the report as well as pictures of the PPO. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was provided with a case number and instruction on how to retrieve a copy of the report.

A short while later, Franklin County deputies advised that they had located David and placed him under arrest based on warrants confirmed through Habersham County and advised that they would meet in order to turn them over to our custody. David was transported to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office where he was turned over to Jail staff without incident. An additional warrant was taken for aggravated stalking due to the most recent violation of the prior court order on the 14th of June.
