On September 1 2026, at approximately 3:03 AM Deputy Holcomb was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a dispute. I responded nonemergency. While in route, I was advised by the Habersham county E911 Center that the female victim/complainant identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had stated her stalker had cut the power to her house. I was familiar with the situation due to previous incidents involving [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I knew the suspect she was speaking of was identified as James Reese.

Upon my arrival I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated she had heard James messing with her window outside of her home. She started speaking with him telling him to leave her alone and that she was calling 911. I had served James with a criminal trespass order several months prior. As she began to call 911 James cut the power from the main breaker on the outside of her home. While speaking with the dispatcher James turn the power back on and fled the area. I observed footprints in the fresh dew of the lawn, headed towards the back of the residence and end into the wood line. I observed the screen on the front window had been ripped from the windowsill. Due to having a track canine from Habersham County Sheriffs Office was requested.

Deputy Askey and canine Baco attempted to locate James. Other units in the area found the vehicle that James was said to be driving parked behind the storage units off of Highway 17. This being very close proximity through the wood line to where this residence was located. The vehicle was a 2000 Nissan frontier gray in color bearing Ga tag [REDACTED]. This vehicle was known to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] as the vehicle James was driving. James was not located by canine.

I advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] of her remedies to seek a temporary protection order as well as circle of Hope. She stated she had no transportation and was unable to get to court. I advised her to call back if James returned.

An arrest warrant for criminal trespass, and aggravated stalking were taken. The arrest warrant were signed by Judge Amy Thomas. Aggravated stalking was taken due to on June 24, 2026 James was told by Judge Thomas to have no contact with the residence at [300 BLOCK] Timber Ridge or Miss [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. These bond conditions were violated with this incident.
