On May11th, 2025 at approximately 0344hrs I, Officer Limones was at 599 441 Historic Hwy, Cornelia, GA (Waffle House) when I came into contact with Julian Lopez acting disorderly.
Prior to this encounter I had received two calls reference Julian, the first was at Tacorriendo Express and the second call was from Race Trac; both calls referenced him acting suspicious. In speaking with Julian he said he was waiting for a ride that was coming to get him from Gwinnett because he was involved in a argument with his girlfriend and she kicked him out of the vehicle. I witnessed Julian running around the Waffle House parking lot and then began banging with his hands the store windows with force. Julian’s behavior appeared to be as if he was under the influence of a narcotic or stimulant.
Julian hands were placed behind his back after he brutally banged on the business window startling the customers within the restaurant, I applied handcuffs checking for proper fit and double lock. During the handcuffing process Julian was bouncing around uncontrollably. I escorted Julian to my patrol vehicle placing him on the right rear seat applying a seat belt across his lap for safety. Julian was searched incident to arrest; negative contraband. I transported Julian to the Habersham Detention Center where he was turned over to the jail staff without further incident. I conducted a inspection of the rear seat before and after transport; negative contraband. Julian was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
