[NARRATIVE #1 on February 13, 2026]

On February 13, 2026 at approximately 2256 hours, DEPUTY JUSTIN MCCLAIN was dispatched and responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Demorest, GA in reference to a welfare check/verbal domestic.

While en-route, dispatch advised that the caller, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (complainant/victim), stated his wife, NINA SNIDER (predominant aggressor/arrested), was in her vehicle in the cul-de-sac intoxicated. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated NINA was staying with her parents in Toccoa, GA but was made to leave after a separate incident.

Upon arrival, MCCLAIN made contact with DEPUTY CHRISTIAN BREWER, who was already on scene speaking with NINA. NINA was sitting in a 2021 green in color Toyota Sienna bearing GA license plate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] which was partially parked in the grass.

While speaking with NINA, BREWER advised her to stop yelling several times while MCCLAIN was there. BREWER stated he had already told her several more times before MCCLAIN’s arrival to stop yelling.

NINA stated nothing happened and she was just trying to stay away from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] due to him being abusive. While NINA was speaking, her speech was erratic, slurred and slow. NINA’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy as well.

NINA stated she was in the middle of a divorce with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] started 3 days prior, and they have been arguing tonight. BREWER made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] while MCCLAIN stayed with NINA. Refer to BREWER’s supplemental for further information.

While standing NINA, she started becoming loud again. MCCLAIN advised NINA to stop being loud due to the time of night and being out the road. NINA stated she was not being loud and stated that MCCLAIN was just being rude. After several minutes, NINA stated again how MCCLAIN was rude, started the vehicle up and rolled the window up. MCCLAIN approached the vehicle and opened the driver side door due to officer safety. NINA stated there is no reason to open the vehicle door and she was trying to get warm.

After speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] BREWER returned and asked NINA to exit the vehicle, to which she stated no. BREWER advised again to exit the vehicle but NINA did not. BREWER gave NINA another command to exit, however she refused to respond or exit. BREWER stated NINA was under arrest and MCCLAIN assisted her out of the vehicle. Once out of the vehicle, NINA decided to drop to the ground in a sitting position.

NINA was placed into handcuffs with her hands behind her back, checking for fit and double locking them. NINA was searched incident to arrest before being placed in the back seat of MCCLAIN’s vehicle where she was seat belted in for her safety.

MCCLAIN made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated he has dealt with NINA’s drinking for years. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated once she sobers up shes a really good person but while shes drinking she becomes violent. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the night prior, February 12, 2026, NINA grabbed a knife from the kitchen and approached him with it, stabbing the seat in the living room.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he recorded the incident and provided the recording to MCCLAIN. In the video, you can see NINA enter the kitchen and open a drawer. NINA grabs a knife from the drawer and turns around, approaching [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with her hand raised. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] starts to retreat for his safety and this when NINA stabs the seat.

NINA is charged with Obstructing/Hindering Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct and Agg. Assault – FVA. Warrants will taken at a later time.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] was provided a business card containing the case number, information on how to contact the Sheriff’s Office and how to obtain a copy of the report. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was also provided with an assistance packet.

[NARRATIVE #2 on February 13, 2026]

On the previous listed date and time, I responded to the listed address as a back up officer for a welfare check. Prior to my arrival, dispatch advised the complainant, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told them there was a domestic dispute between him and his wife and she was intoxicated and has been drinking for three days.

Upon my arrival I observed a green mini van parked perpendicular in the cul-de-sac with its lights on. When I approached the vehicle I observed the vehicle to be on, but not running. I observed the offender later identified as Nina Snider, asleep in the driver’s seat. The driver’s window was rolled down and I announced myself to Snider. She did not wake up, and I proceeded to shake her on the shoulder.

Finally she woke up and I asked what she was doing. Nina stated she was just sleeping in her car in front oh her house. Nina had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage originating from her breath. I asked why she was sleeping in her vehicle when she could be sleeping inside her house. Nina stated because she wanted to, it is her property and she wanted to.

I asked Nina why we (sheriff’s office) was here and she leaned out the window and started yelling “I don’t know you need to ask him (referring to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). I advised Nina to stop yelling, and she leaned out the window and yelled towards [REDACTED BY AGENCY] again. Again I advised her to stop yelling it is late at night and you’re starting to wake the neighbors up.

She stated she did not know why I was there and when I asked about a domestic dispute, she stated “of course we argue we’re married”. Nina declined any physical altercation. I had Deputy McClain #129 stand by with Nina while I talked to [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated they are going to get a divorce and Nina started drinking and causing issues. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Nina is mentally unstable when she is intoxicated and needs help. He stated she left and went to her mom’s house in Toccoa.

While at her mom’s house she continued to drink and she started a conflict with her dad to where Toccoa Police Department had to respond. Due to her being intoxicated, Toccoa PD drove Nina to a friends house to calm down. Nina again started a conflict with her friends and they drove her back to her mom’s house, and Nina stated she would sleep in the vehicle.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] called the Toccoa officer that responded to the incident and he confirmed she was intoxicated when he was called, but that was at 1836 hours. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] proceeded to show me a video from earlier when Nina was at home, and she went to a kitchen drawer and grabbed a knife and charged at [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

I went back to Nina and she started yelling again and Deputy McClain advised her to stop. When she yelled again she was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. Deputy McClain placed her in handcuffs and in the rear seat of his patrol vehicle. I advised Deputy McClain of the video and turned the case over to him.
