On 07/08/2026, at approximately 1050 hours, I, Officer Campbell #408, was sitting stationary on Willingham Ave. near Baldwin Liquor Store when I observed a red Nissan truck bearing Georgia tag [REDACTED BY AGENCY] driving slowly in front of Baldwin Liquor Store with a white male driver looking down in his lap and not buckled up. At first sight of the vehicle, I thought the driver was asleep behind the wheel. The male driver, later identified as Timothy Brian Simmons, raised his head and slowly pulled into the parking lot of Baldwin Liquor Store. The driver was arrested for DUI and released to Habersham County Detention.
