Warning: The following story contains information regarding domestic violence.

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – On April 14, a 32-year-old mother of four was found beaten and stabbed to death during a welfare check at her home just one day after her first wedding anniversary.

Christopher Dean Snow, 31, has been charged with his wife, Casey Allen’s murder. The couple had just welcomed their first child together in December. Allen was the mother of three other children with her first husband, all ranging in age 3.5 months to 7 years old.

The couple had gone out the night before to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary while her three older children were with Allen’s ex-husband. Allen and Snow had dropped off their infant son with Snow’s aunt for the night.

The following morning, Snow showed up at his aunt’s house distraught saying he and his wife had an argument and that he couldn’t find her.

Snow’s aunt called the authorities and requested a welfare check at the Spring Valley Apartments, where police made the grisly discovery. Allen was found inside her home badly beaten and had numerous stab wounds to her torso and face.

Snow was later located in Gwinnett County after he was involved in a serious car crash along I-85, where he suffered significant injuries. According to sources, Snow allegedly attempted suicide by driving into the interstate’s median wall.

Allen’s family wished to have an open-casket funeral but say her face was too disfigured, and she had to be cremated instead. Her celebration of life will be held at the Pooler Funeral Home in Woodstock on April 29. The family has set up a GoFundMe to help Allen’s four children in the wake of this tragic event.

Allen worked for Carter’s Oshkosh on their management team and was a graduate of North Georiga College and State University. Allen’s family said being a mother was everything to her.

On April 19, Snow was arrested and booked into the Hall County Jail on charges of felony murder, aggravated battery and assault of a spouse, and a probation violation. He remains in jail without bond.
