China Hall, located at 1935 Buford Mill Drive in Buford, received a score of 60 points out of a possible 100 points during their 03/24/2023 inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The violations noted by the inspector were:

Violation #1
1-2A: .03(2)(a)-(l), (n)Person in charge not making sure food safety regulations are being followed It is the responsibility of the person in charge to ensure compliance with the food code by demonstrating active managerial control within their facility. (Pf)

2-1B: .03(5)(c)Employee handled dirty dishes then clean dishes without washing his hands Employees must wash hands and exposed portions of arms immediately before engaging in food preparation including working with exposed food, clean equipment and utensils, and unwrapped single-service articles, and: 1) after touching exposed body parts; 2) after using the restroom; 3) after coughing, sneezing, using tobacco, eating, or drinking; 4) after handling soiled equipment or utensils; 5) during food preparation, as often as needed to remove soil and contamination and to prevent cross contamination when changing tasks; 6) before putting on gloves; 7) after engaging in other activities that contaminate hands; 8) a second time when entering the kitchen from using the restroom. Corrective Actions: Moved large containers blocking the sink so it was accessible

Violation #4
4-1A: .04(4)(c)1(i)(ii)(iii)(v) (vi)(vii)(viii)Raw egg stored in cut cabbage, raw chicken over tofu and raw vegetables. Must display, store, prepare, and hold foods so they are protected from cross contamination. (P)

Additional Comments
All cold and hot holding assessed all items in compliance other than those noted.
Make sure employee beloings are not stored with fodd, food containers or on prep surfaces
All employee foods must be stored separate from restaurant foods.
Do not use paper towels after drying hands to wipe down food prep areas, dispose of immediately
Make sure all stickers are removed from containers when washing them
Make sure all food containers are covered or stored to protect food surface side.
Remove all broken or unused equip,emt from the facility or repair
