Courtyard By Marriott receives a 75% on their recent health inspection

Courtyard By Marriott, located at 115 Mill Road, received a score of 75 points out of a possible 100 points during their 05/19/2022 inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The violations noted by the inspector were:

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(1)] 
Observed a container of molded mozzarella cheese stored inside the walk-in cooler. Mozzarella contained dark brown and green mold throughout the product. PIC discarded the product.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(4)(c)1(iv)]
Observed open container of oat milk stored inside the Reach-in cooler in the bar area. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(7)(b)]
Observed “clean” dishes/utensils (knives & Spatulas) stored with food residue and accumulations on food contact surfaces. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(6)(g)]
Observed multiple containers of TCS/RTE foods (American Cheese, White American Cheese, Shredded American) stored inside the walk-in cooler with no date marking to indicate the date of preparation or the date of disposal. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(6)(g)]
Observed (mozzarella cheese, whip cream, and almond milk) held past the disposal date. PIC discarded all products held past the disposal date. Corrected On-Site. Repeat Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(4)(q)]
Observed food (Bananas) stored on the floor inside the walk-in cooler. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.02(1)(f)(1)]
Food Service permit was not observed posted at the time of the inspection. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(10)(g)2]
Observed plates stored uncovered/not inverted to protect from overhead contamination. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(10)(e)1&3]
Observed single-service items stored on the floor inside the dry storage area. New Violation.

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.07(5)(a),(b)]
Observed broken cooler drawer/ reach-in cooler door in the bar area. New Violation.
