Taki Japanese Steakhouse, located at 4711 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Suite 12 in Dunwoody, received a score of 58 points out of a possible 100 points during their 01/10/2023 inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Knives holders stored in hibachi carts were unclean to sight and touch. COS: Knife holders were placed in sink.

COS Lettuce voluntarily discarded by PIC and other vegetables on same shelving area moved to different shelf.

Advised to add weather strip to deter entrance of pests and to inform staff to keep door closed.

Thermometers calibrated to 32F.
Observed parasite destruction letters.
Observed no cover for disposal bin in women’s restroom. Observed no employee handwashing sign in men’s restroom.
Advised to not store any items in the hand sink. Hands sinks used only for employees to wash hands.
Advised that all items must be completely air dried after cleaning before stacking.
Advised to relocate inspection report so it is within 15′ of primary door, 5-7′ from ground, and visible from 1′ away.
Observed employee health policy and provided written fecal-vomit procedure and employee illness quick decision guide. Provided Just Date It! and Just Cool It! sheets.
Observed the bar dishwashing machine not in use.
