[NARRATIVE #1 on June 29, 2026]

On June 29, 2026, at approximately 2248 hours, I, Officer Walcott, assigned to the Canine Unit, conducted a traffic stop at Greenway Drive and Holly Smith Drive within the city limits of McDonough, Henry County, regarding a traffic violation. Both occupants were later arrested on active warrants.

While patrolling Greenway Drive, I observed a silver Chevrolet Cruze traveling southbound on Greenway Drive without a registration plate displayed on the rear of the vehicle. I advised dispatch of my location and initiated a traffic stop using the emergency equipment on my marked patrol unit (#36). The vehicle came to a safe stop on Holly Smith Drive near [200 BLOCK] Holly Smith Drive.

I exited my patrol unit and observed two occupants inside the vehicle. I approached the driver’s side and made contact with the male driver. After explaining the reason for the stop, I requested his driver’s license. The driver stated he did not have his license in his possession and identified himself as Roquerrius Duffy (DOB:[REDACTED]).

During my interaction with Mr. Duffy, I observed that he appeared extremely nervous and continuously looked around. Due to his behavior, I asked him to exit the vehicle and stand in front of my patrol unit while I continued the investigation.

Mr. Duffy advised that the vehicle previously displayed a temporary tag marked “TEST DRIVE” and that he had been stopped by another officer and cited for not having proper registration for the vehicle. He further stated he had completed emissions testing and intended to obtain a valid registration the following day.

I then checked the VIN displayed on the front windshield (VIN: [REDACTED]). A records check confirmed the vehicle as a 2013 silver Chevrolet Cruze. The registration was expired as of October 26, 2018, and the vehicle had valid insurance coverage.

I asked Mr. Duffy if the vehicle and all items inside belonged to him. He stated they did, but advised that his mother also drove the vehicle. I then requested consent to search the vehicle, and Mr. Duffy gave verbal consent.

At that time, I had observed Sgt. Paull remove the female passenger from the vehicle after observing her attempting to conceal an unknown item. The female initially identified herself as Taylor Pritchett (DOB:[REDACTED]). She was detained in handcuffs and secured in the rear of marked patrol unit #13.

I retrieved K-9 from the rear of my patrol unit and conducted a free-air sniff of the vehicle.

Due to the passenger’s activity, I brought K9 Beny to the rear passenger side of the vehicle and began my search from the rear passenger side tail light and worked counter clockwise around the vehicle. Upon reaching the passenger side, K-9 Beny alerted to the passenger seat area. I pulled K9 Beny from the passenger seat and continued checking counter clock wise around the vehicle. On the driver side of the vehicle, K9 Beny alerted a second time on the passenger seat where he gave a final indication by a noticeable change in breathing and pointing at the source.

Sgt. Paull conducted a search of the passenger side of the vehicle where he observed the passenger’s activity while I remained with Mr. Duffy. Sgt. Paull continued his investigation with the passenger and more officers arrived to assist. This allowed me to return to the vehicle to complete my search. During the search, I located a small amount of suspected marijuana residue, not sufficient for collection, as well as a small bottle containing alcohol in the driver’s side door.

I was later advised by Sgt. Paull that an identification that belonged to a Roquavaius Duffy had been located on the female passenger, who was later identified as Alexandra Casillas (DOB: [REDACTED]). Ms. Casillas stated she was holding her boyfriend’s identification and identified him as the driver of the vehicle. We were advised by the dispatcher that Ms. Casillas had active warrants out of Clayton County and DeKalb County.

The identification displayed a different name from the one initially provided by the driver, who identified himself as Roquavaius Duffy (DOB:[REDACTED]) I returned to Mr. Duffy and asked him to provide his name again. He continued to provide the false name. I then showed him the identification and asked if it belonged to him, which he initially denied.

Using my in-car terminal, I conducted a records inquiry and reviewed the identifying information associated with the license. I confirmed the subject’s identity as Roquavaius Duffy by matching his license image and the cross tattoo displayed on his right arm. I again asked if the identification belonged to him, at which time he admitted it was his.

Mr. Duffy was placed in handcuffs, double-locked, and checked for fit. I provided dispatch with the driver’s license information and was advised that he had an active warrant out of Rockdale County for Driving While License Suspended. Dispatch also advised his license remained suspended as of January 29, 2025.

After confirmation of the warrant, Mr. Duffy was secured in the rear seat of marked patrol unit #18.

The vehicle was released to a family member, [REDACTED], who resided at [200 BLOCK] Holly Smith Drive which was the driveway in front of where the vehicle stopped.

Mr. Duffy was transported to the Henry County Jail and turned over to jail staff without incident.

[NARRATIVE #2 on June 29, 2026]

On 06/29/2026 at approximately 2248 hours, I, Sergeant Paull along with Officer Walcott were patrolling on Greenway Drive when I observed a silver in color 2013 Chevrolet Cruze traveling southbound on Greenway Court approaching its intersection with Greenway Park Drive. The vehicle was traveling with no headlights and stopped approximately 50 feet from the intersection before the driver placed the vehicle in reverse and backed down Greenway Court. I continued watching the Greenway Court but the vehicle had parked in front of 65 Greenway Court. I proceeded to Greenway Court where I observed the vehicle parked with its lights off. As I approached the vehicle, the driver turned the headlights on and began traveling back to the Greenway Drive intersection.

I informed Officer Walcott of its direction and he continued observation. The vehicle turned onto Greenway Drive where Officer Walcott intercepted the vehicle. I arrived quickly thereafter and we both activated our emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle stopped in front of [200 BLOCK] Hollysmith Drive where Officer Walcott made contact with the driver and I made contact with the passenger. I began speaking with the passenger who appeared visibly nervous and kept looking at the driver, Roquavaius Quentesz Duffy, as Officer Walcott was speaking to him. Officer Walcott asked Mr. Duffy to exit the vehicle and he did.

I continued my conversation with the passenger, later identified as Alexandra Jean Casillas, who was asking why they were pulled over. I explained the reason for the stop and continued to ask what they were doing on Greenway Court and who the driver was to her. Ms. Casillas began to breath faster and her responses became more confrontational (why does it matter, why you asking, why are yall messing with us). I informed her of the reason for the stop, then asked for Ms. Casillas to provide her name and date of birth. Ms. Casillas asked why she needed to identify herself and I provided a reason. Ms. Casillas stated her name was Taylor Pritchett and spelled it. Ms. Casillas then stated her date of birth was [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I repeated the information back to her and asked her if it was correct and she quickly responded “yes”.

I had questioned her about her name and she began to breath more rapidly and appeared to become agitated. Officer Walcott provided Mr. Duffy’s information to dispatch, then I provided the information Ms. Casillas provided. I noticed Ms. Casillas continued to stare at me as I provided the information and repeatedly looked back at Officer Walcott and Mr. Duffy as they stood behind the vehicle. As we waited, I noticed Ms. Casillas moving a cell phone from between her legs to her left hip multiple times. I repositioned to the driver side to provide the VIN to dispatch and observed something in the seat between MS. Casillas legs. I shined my light at the object and instructed for Ms. Casillas to remove her hands from between her legs and keep them up.

Ms. Casillas stated the object was a flashlight and quickly placed her hands back between her legs. I relocated to the passenger side and instructed for her to step out of the vehicle. As I was opening the door, Ms. Casillas removed something from between her legs and appeared to try and conceal it on the left side of her body or between the seat and the center console. I assisted Ms. Casillas out of the vehicle and observed a cell phone and a Georgia identification card in her hands. I also observed a small black in color corner piece of a plastic bag on the passenger seat, which had fell to the floorboard. I removed the cell phone and id card from her hands, told her she was being detained and secured her hands behind her back using one pair of handcuffs. As I walked Ms. Casillas back to my patrol vehicle she continued to try to reach into her pants around her belt line on her right and left sides.

We arrived at the vehicle and I conducted a check around her belt line and pants pockets with the back of my hand. I felt paper in her back right pocket but could not locate any other items. I seated her in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle (unit 13) and asked for Officer Compton to stand with her as I checked where we walked and the area outside of the front passenger seat. I did not locate anything on the side walk or in the grass. When I returned to the vehicle, by observation, I confirmed the small black in color plastic bag corner laying on the passenger side floor board. The piece of plastic appeared to have been torn from the bottom corner of a black shopping bag, which from my experience is commonly used to temporarily package narcotics. Typically, the open ends of the plastic are twisted or tied together to keep its contents from falling out, this piece had appeared to have already been opened.

Due to all related activities, I requested for Officer Walcott and K9 Beny to conduct a free air sniff on the vehicle. Officer Walcott asked Mr. Duffy for consent to search the vehicle and Mr. Duffy granted consent. Officer Walcott performed a free air sniff and informed me of a positive alert on the passenger side of the vehicle. I entered the passenger side of the vehicle and began a search as Officer Walcott remained with Mr. Duffy. I unwrapped the opened piece of plastic bag but the bag contained no traces of any powder or particles. I continued to check the passenger side but did not successfully locate any narcotics.

I again checked the grass around the passenger side and checked the area we walked but still did not locate any substances. I returned to Ms. Casillas where Officer Newcomb had completed a frisk of Ms. Casillas, which also yielded no findings. As I was checking the name Ms. Casillas had provided, she was still stating she was not hiding anything and that she was just trying to put a license and money in her pockets. I looked at the license that was in her possession which belong to Roquavaius Duffy, the driver. It was later discovered that Ms. Casillas was trying to hide Mr. Duffy’s identification card because Mr. Duffy had provided Officer Walcott with a different name due to an active warrant and suspended license.

After checking the name Taylor Pritchett [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I noticed the driver image did not match Ms. Casillas. I informed Ms. Casillas of my findings and that she was now under arrest for false name and date of birth. Ms. Casillas was even more confrontational, cursed at me and refused to provide her actual information. After calming Ms. Casillas down, she did provide her actual information. After checking her real information, I discovered she had two active warrants. Warrant 25C05101-Dekalb County, GA and warrant 2023CR02933-Clayton County, GA. I informed Ms. Casillas of the active warrants and my charge for obstruction.

I checked Ms. Casillas handcuffs, double locked them and allowed Ms. Casillas an opportunity to smoke a Cigarillo as I completed her paperwork. I secured Ms. Casillas in the rear seat using a seatbelt and transported her to the Henry County Jail without incident. After transport, I conducted a check of the rear seating compartment of unit 13 with no findings.
