[NARRATIVE #1 on May 10, 2025]
On 5/10/25 I responded to Carol’s Lane in reference to a domestic dispute that occurred at [90 BLOCK] Club Drive. Upon my arrival, I spoke with the victim, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] told me that he was at his mother’s house at [90 BLOCK] Club Drive. His wife was transported to the residence by [WITNESS #1] to retrieve her Jeep Gladiator. There was a heated argument between [VICTIM #1], and Lena Carpenter about the Jeep. Lena used her key to enter the vehicle and to start the engine. [VICTIM #1] told me that Lena tried to hit him with the vehicle in front of the house. I spoke to [WITNESS #1], who was a witness to this incident. He did say that Lena drove towards [VICTIM #1], but he felt that Lena was not trying to hit him.
The video of the incident showed [VICTIM #1] open the passenger side door and remove some items. [VICTIM #1] walked to the driveway where it met the edge of the roadway. He was standing approximately 25 feet in front of the vehicle and was in the driveway adjacent to the grass. The video showed Lena drive towards [VICTIM #1] with the steer tires pointed directly in his direction. The vehicle went forward which forced [VICTIM #1] to jump out of the way. [VICTIM #1] then ran onto Club Drive and away from vehicle. The video showed the vehicle reversing at a high rate of speed towards where [VICTIM #1] ran. The video showed that Lena attempted to strike [VICTIM #1] with the Jeep two separate times. Lena then drove to [100 BLOCK] Carol’s Lane where her daughter’s in-laws reside.
I spoke with Lena and she said that she went to get her Jeep but denied trying to strike [VICTIM #1]. When I first spoke with Lena about the incident, I had not watched any surveillance video. When I returned to [100 BLOCK] Carol’s Lane I told Lena that she was going to be charged with aggravated assault. I spoke with Judge Flora by phone and advised her of the situation with Lena being outside of our jurisdiction. I applied for the arrest warrant and it was signed by Judge Flora. Officer Wilkerson who is deputized in the county arrived at the location and arrested Lena. She was transported to the Henry County Jail and relinquished to jail staff.
The video of the incident was uploaded to Evidence.com along with my body worn camera video.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 10, 2025]
On 05-10-2025, at approximately 1655 hours, I was requested to come out to [100 BLOCK] Carols Ln, Locust Grove, GA 30248 to assist with the domestic call. The suspect, Lena Carpenter, was at this residence, which is outside of the Locust Grove city limits. The officers working the call had an arrest warrant, which was signed by Judge Flora, for Lena Carpenter, for aggravated assault family violence. I was requested to come arrest her since I am deputized through the Butts County Sheriff’s office. I placed Lena in handcuffs, checked them for fit, double-locked them, and placed her in the backseat of my patrol car with her seatbelt on. Once I finished my paperwork, I transported her to the Henry County jail without incident.
