On January 23, 2026, around 1250 hours, I was notified by the secretary at Veterans High School in reference to a fight in the hallway near the central stairs. (340 Piney Grove Rd.)

Once I arrived at the central stairs, I noticed Ayden Jones and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were separated by the teachers. I was informed by the teachers that the two had been in a physical altercation with each other.

Once in the office, I reviewed the camera footage. I noticed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Ayden shoving each other in the hallway. The incident continued to the central stairs, where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Ayden began to shove and punch each other multiple times until the teachers were able to seperate the two.

I advised Ayden to stand up and place his hands behind his back. Ayden was placed in handcuffs to the rear (double-locked and fit checked), and Ayden was searched with negative findings. Ayden was transported and turned over to HCDC.
