On 02/18/2026 at approximately 2145 hrs, I, Ofc. Slater, along with Ofc. K Wilson and Ofc. M Miller, was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Parkwood in reference to a domestic.

Upon arrival, we met with Cameron Willis. He advised he was cooking on the stove when his brother came into the kitchen and started to cook as well. An argument ensued over the use of groceries. Willis advised his brother, [VICTIM #1], became verbally aggressive and pushed him. Cameron stated he pushed back. He feared getting into trouble since he was using a knife at the time, so he threw the knife into the sink so it would not be in his hand during the argument.

Cameron said the knife hit the wall clock just above the sink causing its glass to break and the clock to fall on to the counter. Cameron then advised his mother came into the kitchen and wanted to know what had happened. After some further arguments, [VICTIM #1] called 911. Cameron said they locked him outside of the residence.

I then spoke with [WITNESS #1]. She advised she was in her room when she heard fighting. She said she came in toward the kitchen to find both sons arguing. She stated she did not see the initial physical altercation in the kitchen but as she walked toward the kitchen, she saw Cameron charging [VICTIM #1] with the knife, holding the knife up in an offensive manner.

She said Cameron chased [VICTIM #1] into the living room and [VICTIM #1] ran out of the front door. She stated he threw the knife toward the sink, breaking the clock and left the kitchen. She advised that Cameron battles [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and does not believe he has been taking his medications. She said his outbursts happen frequently, but the knife made her fear for their safety.

[VICTIM #1] corroborated mostly the same story as his mother. He stated he made a comment about groceries and argument started. [VICTIM #1] stated given his past, he did not want trouble and tried to deescalate the situation, but his brother started pushing him. He said Cameron tried to choke him multiple times but he continuously moved away from him to keep from being assaulted. He said his mother came in and tried to defuse the situation. He stated Cameron then stabbed the pan [VICTIM #1] was cooking in, then charged him with the knife. [VICTIM #1] said he ran into the living room, and out of the front door, fearing for his safety.

[WITNESS #1] and [VICTIM #1] were able to get Cameron to settle down enough to call the police. [VICTIM #1] said he then went to his room, until we arrived.

We observed the damage to the clock and the glass face was shattered on the counter by the sink. A hole was in the bottom of the frying pan and a dent on the underside, consistent with [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1]’s statements. We also observed holes in the walls of Cameron’s room. [WITNESS #1] advised they were from previous incidents, but she wanted to show his history of aggression and violence.

Cameron was taken into custody with handcuffs in the rear, double locked and checked for proper fit. He was transported to headquarters and turned over to booking staff.

I will be seeking warrants on Cameron for aggravated assault- family violence for charging [VICTIM #1] with a knife with the intent to harm the victim and making him fear for his life. I will also be seeking a warrant for criminal trespass-damage for causing damage to the frying pan and the wall clock during a heated argument.
