On 06-18-2025, at 1057 hrs., I, Dep. Poole was dispatched to 202 Carl Vinson Parkway in reference to a theft by deception.

Once on scene, I made contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1]. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised on 04-13-2025, he wrote a check to Jonathan Davis for $600.00 for a refurbished stove to be delivered to his rental property. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised after several months he still hasn’t received the stove, and he was told Mr. Davis was recently arrested. Mr. [VICTIM #1] provided me a copy of the check he wrote to Mr. Davis as well as the receipt that he stated Mr. Davis wrote him. I took photos of both and they will be attached to this report.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] was advised a report will be completed and I provided him with a case number.
