On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at approximately 0006 hours, I was assigned to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division. I was in uniform with my badge displayed. I was dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Booth Road Lot [REDACTED], Warner Robins, Ga, 31088, in reference to a physical domestic altercation.
Dep. Pearson and I arrived on scene and contacted the offender, Jonathan Walker, in the front yard. Jonathan said he was fighting with the victim, [VICTIM #1] (Jonathan’s girlfriend), when she grabbed him by his hair and hit him in the mouth. I saw a laceration, swelling, and bruising on Jonathan’s lower lip. Jonathan said the argument was about tarot cards that [VICTIM #1] was doing. Jonathan said he was drinking tonight had enough of it then threw her cards everywhere.
Dep. Davis arrived on scene, and I asked him to stand with Jonathan while I spoke with [VICTIM #1]. I stepped into the house and [VICTIM #1] told me Jonathan had assaulted her and tried to strangle her. [VICTIM #1] walked Dep. Pearson and myself to their bedroom where the fight began. I saw the room in disarray.
[VICTIM #1] said the argument started after they told their daughter to go to bed. I was told Jonathan came back into the room and started yelling at [VICTIM #1]. She said Jonathan pushed her head into the bed, straddled her so she could not move and then began to choke her with both his hands around her neck. I asked if she felt like she could not breathe and she said yes.
[VICTIM #1] said she was trying to push herself off the bed to get away from Jonathan. Once she got away, she went to the living room to create space from Jonathan, but he followed her. Once in the living room, [VICTIM #1] said Jonathan kept getting into her face. When she tried to go back to the bedroom, he would not let her, and when she went to the kitchen, he threw her on the ground, held her against the ground with one hand on her throat, and punched her with a closed fist.
I saw a large scratch across the middle of [VICTIM #1]’s throat, a scratch on the left side of her neck, and redness on the right side of her face which supported her claim of being punched. [VICTIM #1] also showed me damage to the wall, which was caused from Jonathan strangling [VICTIM #1].
I returned to Jonathan and asked him to walk me through the incident again. He told me he went into the bedroom and flipped the table over throwing her tarot cards everywhere. Jonathan said when [VICTIM #1] went to the living room, he did follow her to make her angry. Jonathan then admitted to throwing [VICTIM #1] on the ground and punching her 3 times.
After gathering their information, I instructed Jonathan to turn around and he placed his hands behind his back. I placed Jonathan into handcuffs, checked for appropriate fit, and double locked them without incident.
I escorted Jonathan to my patrol vehicle, took pictures of him, [VICTIM #1], and the wall. I gave [VICTIM #1] the case number to the report and told her Jonathan would be going to jail tonight. I contacted the on-call investigator Sgt. Ross and briefed him on the situation.
I transported Jonathan to the detention center in Perry, Ga. Jonathan was booked and processed on his charges of Aggravated Assault Strangulation Family Violence (O.C.G.A. 16-5-21), Battery Family Violence (O.C.G.A. 16-5-23.1), and Criminal Trespass Damage Family Violence (O.C.G.A. 16-7-21).
I will be seeking warrants on Jonathan.
