On November 05, 2025, I responded to a Centegix alert on the 1600 hallway of Northside High school in reference to a fight. Upon my arrival the two students involved in the fight had already been separated by staff and taken to the front office.
INFORMATION:
I walked in the classroom where the fight happened and Ke’Niyah was sitting down while the school nurse took a look at her because she had several scratches on her face. Ke’Niyah said she was in the classroom when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] tried to come in to fight her so she closed the door. She said [REDACTED BY AGENCY] came into the classroom and hit her and they started to fight. Deputy Towns and myself were then called to come to the front office due to a parent being irate. I then activated my body camera. When we arrived at the office the mother of Ke’Niyah was in the office and we spoke with her and advised her that we were taking care of the situation.
When I arrived at the front office they had them separated in different offices. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was in one office and Ke’Niyah Ward was in another office. The principal Mr. [REDACTED] was speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] when I walked into his office. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that the fight started when she tried to walk in the classroom and Ke’Niyah closed the door on her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she then punched Ke’Niyah in the face and they started fighting.
While I was in the office with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] her sister [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was in another office and ran out into the hallway trying to get to Ke’Nyiah. She was yelling that she was going to kill Ke’Niyah when she got to her and we were not going to be able to stop her. One of the assistant principals was able to stop her from going down the hallway to get to Ke’Niyah but [REDACTED BY AGENCY] would not settle down. I was able to push [REDACTED BY AGENCY] back into another office and try to place her in handcuffs to gain control of her. She refused to give me her hands and she pulled away from me. I was able to get control of her arm and take her down to the floor. Me and Deputy Towns were able to hold her arms in place and place her in hancuffs. I then let her get off of the floor and I checked the cuffs for fit and double locked them. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] still refused to listen and continued to try and walk out of the area so Deputy Towns went and got his leg chains and we placed leg chains on her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] continued to yell out that she was going to get Ke’Niyah the next time she got a chance.
The principal stated that he did want all of them charged. I advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that she was being charged with affray and terroristic threats, I then told [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that she was being charged with terroristic threats and obstruction. Ke’Niyah was advised by deputy Towns that she was being charged with affray. Deputy Sgt. Farris transported [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to the Houston county detention center and I transported [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to the Houston county juvenile office. Ke’Niyah was told to go turn herself in at the Houston county detention center by deputy Towns and he would be taking a warrant out for affray.
[End of Narrative]
