On August 5, 2025, at approximately 1518 hours, I, Deputy H. Sanders was dispatched to Williams Auto Trim, 111118 Hwy 247 in reference to an aggravated assault with a knife.
While enroute to the scene Central Dispatch advised that a black female was chasing a black male with a knife. Central Dispatch advised that the female was swinging the knife at the male. Central Dispatch advised that the female had separated from the male and was entering into a maroon sedan. Central Dispatch advised that the incident was being reporting by a witness. Due to the nature of the incident an emergency response (code 3) was authorized.
Upon arrival, I observed a maroon 2003 Mercedes Benz E500 (GA Tag #[REDACTED BY AGENCY]) attempting to leave the driveway of Williams Auto Trim. A felony stop was performed on the Mercedes and the vehicle stopped in the parking lot. The driver was identified as Pamela Williams (B/F DOB:[REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1971) and she exited the Mercedes. Pamela was given verbal commands to keep her hands visible. Due to the knowledge of an aggravated assault, Pamela was detained with her hands affixed behind her back with handcuffs that were checked for proper fit and double-locked. A Terry Frisk was performed on Pamela for weapons, with none being found on her person. Pamela advised she was not pregnant nor postpartum within six months. Pamela was then placed into the rear of my patrol vehicle.
I provided Pamela with her Miranda Rights, and she agreed to speak with me and other deputies present at the scene. Pamela said she came to this location due to previously dating the victim, [VICTIM #1] (B/M DOB:[REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1966). Pamela advised when she arrived at the scene she saw [VICTIM #1] with another woman. Pamela said she confronted [VICTIM #1] with a piece of plastic from the water hose near the business. Pamela stated [VICTIM #1] believed that she had knife and began backing away from her. Pamela advised she continued to approach [VICTIM #1] while berating him about cheating on her. Pamela stated that while she was walking towards [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #1] pushed her down to the ground. Pamela advised that she received minor scratches to both knees due to falling. Pamela stated after she got back onto her feet from the ground, she returned to her Mercedes to leave. Pamela was adamant that she did not have a knife during the incident. Pamela stated she did not need medical assistance for the minor abrasions. Photographs of Pamela’s injuries were taken.
I made contact with [VICTIM #1] to obtain his narrative of the incident. [VICTIM #1] advised that he and Pamela used to date in the past. [VICTIM #1] stated that Pamela came to his work and began to argue about the woman present on scene. [VICTIM #1] tried to explain to Pamela the woman on scene was a customer. [VICTIM #1] advised he was able to convince Pamela to leave on her own.
[VICTIM #1] stated he believed that Pamela left the business, but Pamela suddenly returned with a knife in her right hand. [VICTIM #1] advised that Pamela began walking towards him swinging the knife in his direction. [VICTIM #1] stated that Pamela did not make contact with him. [VICTIM #1] advised that he did not believe that Pamela was going to stab him. [VICTIM #1] stated that Pamela fell while she was walking towards him which caused Pamela to scrape her knees.
[VICTIM #1] described Pamela’s knife as a black pocketknife approximately 6 inches in total length. [VICTIM #1] explained he did not want to pursue charges against Pamela for aggravated assault. [VICTIM #1] stated that he wanted Pamela to be criminally trespassed from the business and to leave immediately.
I made contact with the reporting party/witness, [WITNESS #1] (B/F DOB:[REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1971). [WITNESS #1] advised she was at the business to have her car detailed. [WITNESS #1] stated while waiting for the detail Pamela arrived at the scene. [WITNESS #1] advised she heard Pamela and [VICTIM #1] argue. [WITNESS #1] confirmed that Pamela walked away from [VICTIM #1] but returned holding a black pocketknife in her right hand. [WITNESS #1]’s description of the knife matched with [VICTIM #1]’s description. [WITNESS #1] said she saw Pamela with the black knife swinging it at [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] advised she observed Pamela’s walking and swinging the knife at [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated she did not observe Pamela fall.
Due to [VICTIM #1] decision to not pursue charges against Pamela, I released Pamela from being detained. I advised Pamela that she was criminally trespassed from the business. I asked Pamela again about the black knife and she admitted there was a black pocketknife in her vehicle. I requested consent to retrieve the pocketknife and Pamela provided consent. I asked Pamela where the knife was located inside of the vehicle. Pamela stated the knife was in the rear passenger door jamb.
I checked the door jamb and did not locate the knife. I advised Pamela of my findings. Pamela made the statement of “now where did I put that knife?”. Pamela advised to check the pocket on the rear of the front passenger seat. I thus located the knife in the pocket of the rear pocket of the front passenger seat. I notated that the pocketknife matched the description given by [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1]. The knife was seized at that time as evidence. Pamela then left the scene without incident.
I had [VICTIM #1] complete a notice of non-prosecution for aggravated assault. I had Pamela and [WITNESS #1] complete witness statement forms. [VICTIM #1] was unable to complete a witness statement from due to his dyslexia. All forms were uploaded to this report.
An evidence voucher was completed for the knife. The knife was placed into the property department as evidence.
Due to the nature of the incident Sgt. Ross of the Houston County Criminal Investigation Division was notified of the incident. Sgt. Ross advised to take a report of the incident.
