On 02/04/26, I, Deputy Thompson with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Willingham Drive in reference to a Sexual Assault that occured at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Upon arrival, I made contact with the reporting party, the father, [WITNESS #1], who advised the following:
On 02/02/26, at approximately 2200 hours he was having issues putting the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to bed at his house at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. While speaking with her, she told him the suspect, her “papa”, Steve Graham, entered her bedroom at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and showed her his p*nis. She did not tell him exactly when it had happened, but it seemed to have been recently.
[WITNESS #1] confronted Steve about the allegations, which Steve refuted. The residence where the incident occurred was owned by Steve and is where [WITNESS #1] and the involved other #1, his wife, [WITNESS #2], the daughter of Steve, both live. The victim stays at this address every other week when it is [WITNESS #1]’s week for shared custody.
I asked both [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2] if Steve had a history of this behavior and they advised no. They both advised Steve suffered from severe depression and memory loss. They further advised Steve was also prescribed multiple medications from a previous surgery.
While on scene I also made contact with the involved other #2, the victim’s mother, [WITNESS #3], who advised the following:
Upon hearing of the incident, she asked the victim what happened and was told the same statements as were told to [WITNESS #1].
I notified the on-call Juvenile Investigator, Sergeant (Sgt.) Lashley, who arrived on scene shortly after being informed of the incident and conducted his initial investigation.
I provided both [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #3] case numbers and Sgt. Lashley’s briefed them on the next steps in investigation.
