On the listed date and time, I was dispatched to [2800 BLOCK] Old Gray highway in reference to a domsiic dispute between brother and sister.

Dispatch advised the female subject [VICTIM #1] stated her brother grabbed her around the neck and was chocked her. She also stated her brother is shooting his gun in the yeard.. When I arrived on scene I saw Christopher and lamarkis Brrown standing in the driveway.

I asked them both what’s up? They both tell me they were playing video games in the back room, When they heard a noise in the next room where the kids were watching T.V. They ran to see what it was. The baby had pulled the T.V. off the table and it fell on top of her breaking the T.V. When their sister came home, and saw the T.V. She went off on eneryone. they stated their mother and sister tried to take the baby with them. But Christopher wouldn’t let them take her. So [VICTIM #1] and her mother left the baby there and drove off down Gray highway going towards Macon.

I asked them If they had or shot any guns? the stated no. About 30 mins later, I was dispatched back to [2900 BLOCK] Old gray highway in reference to [VICTIM #1] wanted to report the damage to her T.V. before I arrived on scene, Dispatch advised a fight had started between lamarkis and [VICTIM #1]. Then about 5 mins. later dispatched advised she had been shot.

I arrived on scene and saw Lamarkis standing in the driveway, He stated his sister broke his door and T.V. and a fight started. He stated she had a bat and hit him in the head. I then told him his sister told dispatch she had been shot. I placed him I the back seat of my patrol car. I then went inside to speak with [VICTIM #1]. She had blood on the left side of her head. then I noticed the hole in her shoulder. I asked her Who shot her? She stated it was Lamarkis. She siad he hit her with the gun on the side of the head and the gun went off, Hitting her in the shoulder.

I asked dispatch for an ambulance. While I was talking with [VICTIM #1], Christopher Brown tried to walk back into the house. I noticed his hoddie front pocket was bulging. I asked him to hold up and let me check him for weapons. He stated he didn’t have a gun. I found a Smith & Wesson black pistol with laser site in his front pocket. he stated it was his weapon and he bought it from a friend. I tried to run the serial number on the gun, but was unable to. Because the numbers were scratched off the gun.

Christopher Brown was placed under arrest for possession of a weapon with a altered identification number. he was transported to the Jones County Jail by Lt. Bailey [VICTIM #1] was transported to Atrium by EMS. Lamarkis showed me were he hid his gun afterr the shooting. under a box in the shed.
