I was dispatched 123 Holmes Hawkins Dr, the lobby of the sheriff’s office in reference to making contact with [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated that his 14 year old daughter [VICTIM #1] brought to his attention that a man his age was texting her wanting inappropriate photos of her. [WITNESS #1] stated that this man seemed to be “grooming” her. She stated that the man’s name is Derek Johnston from Macon. Derek is the uncle of her ex-boyfriend, [REDACTED].

The text are asking for a “proof” picture and also to her to replace his contact as a girl’s name. He tells her several times to “delete the text thread because he’s and adult and she ain’t”. She said that [REDACTED]’s brother dated a girl from Jones County as well and Derek did the same thing to her. I asked [VICTIM #1] if she sent any photos at all she said the only one she sent was the side of her face. She was not sur of Derek’s address on School Rd or his date of birth but said he was close to her fathers age.
