[NARRATIVE #1 on November 23, 2025]
On Nov 23, 2025, I, Deputy Dominguez was dispacthed to the Lake Mart gas station located within Jones County, to meet with a [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] in reference to an incident of aggravated assault that had just occured at [3000 BLOCK] Joycliff Rd Macon, GA.
Upon my arrival, I made conact with both parties. They stated that a Garrik Hogan shot at their vehcile, with a shotgun, while driving away from [3000 BLOCK] Joycliff Rd. They stated that the back left tire was shot and gone flat due to Mr. Hogan shooting at them. I did observe the white Ford Ranger that the vicitims were driving and it was flat.
I asked Ms. [VICTIM #1] to explain to me what happened. She stated that Mr. Hogan is her mother’s boyfriend and that she had been staying at his residence for the last couple of days. She wanted to leave this morning so she called her boyfriend, [VICTIM #2] to pick her up. After speaking with Mr. [VICTIM #2], she went to tell Mr. Hogan that her boyfriend was on the way to pick her up, to which he replied “He better not come onto my fu*king driveway.” Ms. [VICTIM #1] said that Mr. Hogan went back to sleep.
Her boyfriend arrived at the residence and as she was walking to the truck and was nearly in it, Mr. Hogan was seen coming out through the front door of his residence with a shotgun in hand and was loading it with ammo. She got in the truck and they started to drive off, while on Joycliff rd, Mr. Hogan was seen about halfway up the driveway and he shot off two rounds towards the vehicle they were in. They continued driving on Joycliff rd, headed towards Gray hwy when they realized that the back left tire had gone flat. They pulled in to the lake mart gas station as they could no longer drive.
Shortly after parking, she stated that Mr. Hogan appeared at the gas station and confronted them. She said that Mr. Hogan told Mr. [VICTIM #2] “I know where you stay and I will have people watching you”, “You better have her home at her mom’s house in three hours or I’ll fu*king kill you.” Then she said Mr. Hogan took a picture of Mr. [VICTIM #2] license plate. She stated that he continued to harass them until he realiazed that she called 911 and that is when he finally left.
I spoke with Mr. [VICTIM #2] and he explained the same. He said that once he picker [VICTIM #1] up, he saw Mr. Hogan come out with the shotgun and tried to get away as fast as possible. Once at the gas station he said that when Mr. Hogan confronted him, Mr. Hogan shoved him and made the threats.
After receiving their statement I went inside the gas station and asked the employee if we could watch the camera footage to which he agreed. Upon watching the footage, I observed the victimd pull in and park, shortly after I saw an early 2000’s tan suburban pull in and park behind and offset of the truck. A white male stepped with dark hair and a full beard stepped out and went up to the victims. During the encounter you see Mr. Hogan walk away from the victims and around to the left side of the victims truck and he was looking at the back left tire. He goes back to the victims again and then to the back of victims truck and he is seen looking at the license plate of the vehicle and appeared to be capturing the license plate number. He again goes back to the victims and eventually goes back into his vehicle and leaves.
Deputy N. Sullivan also resonded, he went to the address [3000 BLOCK] Joycliff Rd Macon, GA, provided by Ms. [VICTIM #1]. There he saw the same tan early 2000’s suburban that was seen on the security footage. He radioed the license plate in to dispatch. I ran the plate number on my CAD through GCIC, which came back to a Garrik Hogan. The picture that appeared on GCIC was of a white male with dark hair and looked similar to the male seen on security footage. Other Deputies and an investigator arrived at the residence of [3000 BLOCK] Joycliff rd to attempt to make contact with Mr. Hogan, but no one came to the door. It was decided that we would put warrants out for Mr. Hogans arrest.
Sergeant walk took pictures of the victims truck. A local company came to remove the back left tire and replaced it with a new one. Deputy J. Humphries found a small hole in the side wall of the tire. I took the tire to place into evidence. Upon, getting their tire fixed I escorted the victims to the bypass to make sure Mr. Hogan was not trying to follow them. Once they made it to the bypass, I went t o the LEC and logged the tire into evidence.
Warrants put out for Garrik Hogan: Aggravated assault x2, simple battery, reckless conduct, terroristic threats, criminal damage to property, discharge of firearm on or near publice hwy or rdwy.

[NARRATIVE #2 on November 26, 2025]
On 11/26/2025, I deputy J. Robinson was advised by Lt. Nelson to move over to the area of Joycliff Rd in attempts to make contact with a Garrik Hogan, who had an active warrant for aggravated assault out of Jones County. I was advised he was driving a tan in color Chevy Suburban bearing Ga tag number [REDACTED]. Lt. Nelson was watching Hogans driveway at [3000 BLOCK] Joycliff rd in attempts to catch him leaving in said vehicle. Deputy Shurley was standing by with me near the intersection of Ga Hwy 49 and Joycliff Rd. Lt Nelson advised over the radio a vehicle left from Hogan’s address and was heading towards my location.
I spotted the vehicle and it was the Chevy Suburban bearing the same tag number. I turned on my blue lights to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle continued to turn right on to Ga Hwy 49 from Joycliff Rd and pulled over just inside Bibb County. Deputy Shurley and I drew our duty weapons holding at low ready and gave the driver commands, which was Mr. Hogan to exit the vehicle. Mr. Hogan complied and he was handcuffed behind the back, double locked and checked for weapons an contraband. He was placed in the rear of Shurley’s patrol unit.
I conducted a quick search of the vehicle for weapons, I was advised by Nelson Hogan had weapons in the vehicle. I located a handgun between the drivers seat and the console. I located a 308 cal rifle in the rear of the vehicle and a PSE compound bow located in the front passenger seat. I removed all three weapons from the vehicle and placed the weapons in the rear of my patrol car. I called for the next list wrecker to remove the vehicle from the roadway. Once I ran the tag through GCIC/NCIC I was alerted the vehicle did not have active insurance on it and the registration was expired. While looking throught vehicle I noted Hogan had active flashing blue light bars up in the dash facing towards traffic.
The vehicle was removed from the roadway by 49 wrecker service and towed the Jones County LEC impound yard. A vehicle inventory was done on the vehicle at the Jones County Sheriff’s Office and documented with photographs. Mr. Hogan was transported to the Jones County LEC by deputy Shurley and turned over to the Jail staff were he was served his warrant for aggravated assault and awaited charges from the traffic stop. The weapons were placed in evidence at the Jones County LEC for safe keeping. Mr. Hogan was charged with, no insurance, expired registration and unauthorizied blue light on a vehicle.
