On Tuesday September 30, 2025 I, Deputy Ayla Morris, arrived at 110 Pamela Dr, Dollar General, to stand by for store closing.

Upon my arrival I was descended upon by three people, two I recognized as employees of Dollar General, and a third elder woman wearing a camouflage shirt and blue beanie. I exited my vehicle and the elder woman was yelling something unintelligible. A male employee of the Dollar General, [VICTIM #1], advised the female subject, Laura Snow, came up to him and asked how many kids he had. Mrs. Snow started yelling again and approached me, throwing her hands in the air. Another deputy arrived on scene and helped me assist Mrs. Snow into handcuffs. Mrs. Snow was placed in the rear seat of my assigned patrol vehicle.

I was then able to speak with Mr. [VICTIM #1] who advised Mrs. Snow is a regular customer with mental health issues. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised he and the manager, Mrs. [WITNESS #1], were standing outside when Mrs. Snow and her son, Mr. [WITNESS #2], arrived. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised Mrs. Snow approached him and asked how many children he had. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised he responded “to many” and Mrs. Snow immediately became belligerent.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised Mrs. Snow was screaming and moving towards him with arms raised as if she was going to hit him. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised he told Mrs. Snow she was banned from the store but she would not leave and started trying to enter the store. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised her son tried to contain her but was unsuccessful. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised Mrs. Snow entered the store and tried to recover a buggy from the collection area but was unable to pull it out so slammed it back into the collection area. Mrs. Snow then picked up a bottled drink and threw it at Mr. [VICTIM #1] but did not hit him with it. Mrs. [WITNESS #1] showed me the surveillance footage of this incident which reflected the actions of all parties as Mr. [VICTIM #1] described it. Mrs. [WITNESS #1] requested Mrs. Snow be criminally trespassed from the store.

I returned to my assigned patrol vehicle and adjusted Mrs. Snows handcuffs, moving them to a front facing position. I then advised Mrs. Snow she was being charged with Disorderly Conduct and was criminally trespassed from 110 Pamela Dr. I transported Mrs. Snow to the Jones County LEC without further incident where she was turned over to jail staff for processing.

A warrant for Disorderly Conduct was sought and obtained on behalf of Mrs. Laura Snow. The surveillance footage was collected and e-mailed for evidence retention.
