On 5-13-26 3 Centegix Alarms were activated by Ms [WITNESS #1], Ms [WITNESS #2] and Ms [WITNESS #3]. All are teachers on G-Hall at the Jones County H S.

Myself and several admin staff responded to the alerts.

Once on G-Hall we were advised that a female student had been argueing with Ms [VICTIM #1].

Ms [VICTIM #1] said that some female students had walked by her room in the hallway and she told them that they need to get to class because we are on code yellow.

Ms [VICTIM #1] said that one of the students, Mikaya, asked “why we on code yellow”?. Was there a fight? Nobody did nothing.

Ms [VICTIM #1] said that Mikaya then said “man, if this lady don’t stop talking to me”. To which Ms [VICTIM #1] advised she said “What will tou do>

Mikaya said in a statement to Mr [WITNESS #4] that this triggered her and she started using profanity.

Several teachers, Ms [WITNESS #3], Ms [WITNESS #5], Ms [WITNESS #2], Ms [WITNESS #6] and Ms [WITNESS #1] were in the hallway as usual during class change and heard Mikaya say “you wanna hit”?

All the witnesses and Ms [VICTIM #1] percieved this as a threat or challenge to fight.

Mr [WITNESS #4] aqdvised that he feels this was meant as a threat also and as principal does want to persue charges.

I placed Mikaya in handcuffs and transported her to the Jones County LEC. I optained a warrant for disorderly conduct and turned custody over to the jail staff.

I recieved a copy of Ms [VICTIM #1], Ms [WITNESS #6], Ms [WITNESS #2] and Mikaya’s statements.
